I don't normally feel compelled to write a review, however the level of care I've received from Jackie the practice nurse at the Kensington road surgery has been exceptional.
Jackie fully listened to my concerns, reacting with empathy and professionalism, nothing was too much, and the support i was given went above and beyond, I'm truly thankful to her and the lovely man on reception, who was extremely helpful, always welcomed me with a smile and even remembered me each time I had to attend the surgery, such a refreshing change!
Often at these places you can be just a number, just a measure of performance, however Jackie totally couldn't be further from that, she's a real star and an asset to Kensington rd.

The practice in general needs cosmetic improvement, seems like it's had very little investment over the years. However the service, care and aftercare are excellent.
The reception staff, seem more engaged, interested in you and actually want to find help or a solution to your problem. Especially the younger man behind, he has a wonderful charming and empathetic nature, very efficient and caring.
The real star of the surgery in Jackie, what a wonderful nursing practitioner, a fountain of knowledge, really genuinely interested in your issues and will support you throughout your diagnosis. Jackie was a massive support and help with my diabetes, she kept me motivated to change my dietary habits and lifestyle, which has helped me lose weight, and control my health issues with a structured and supportive relationship. I can't rate Jackie high enough, the woman is a saint!! Without her restless intervention, I probably wouldn't be here today.

Awful. Awful. Awful.
Looking to change asap.
Everytime I've called to make an appointment that requires me to be seen in person, I'm fobbed off with an out of hours Dr. Out of hours Dr confirms I need to see my GP (LOL) and I'm transferred back to my GP whol schedules an appointment. What a waste of resources.
They'll also only address one issue at the appointment and tell you to go through the whole process again for whatever else you need to discuss.

Undoubtedly, this will leave people reluctant to go back. For some, I imagine this will make things worse.

Patient care has definitely improved over the last couple of months or so and the reception staff always go the extra mile to try and get you seen as soon as possible. Paul, in particular, is an asset to the team. Much happier with their service.

It is practically impossible to get an appointment. Their go to seems to be go to the walk in center. I have asked on multiple occasions for something to be done by the surgery......it is a simple task with regard to the NHS app. It still hasn't been done. They have even messed up a hospital referral for myself, I have spoken with them about this issue on multiple occasions.....it still hasn't been done! I have been on their website for some guidance on their complaints procedure and there is no information about it on the website. I have been a patient at this surgery for nearly 40yrs and I have never known it to be as bad as it is now! It is an absolute nightmare of a place

I have seen both Dr Latif and the pharmacist, Sonia on a few occasions recently. Their compassionate and caring approach has always made me feel at ease and most importantly they have been proactive in dealing with my health concerns.

Reception staff have been helpful and friendly. I have recently had help from Paul who was both helpful and knowledgeable.

Many thanks team.

I recently had two consultations at this surgery with different GP's and felt taken care of. Both took the time to listen to my concerns and compassionate in their approach. The reception staff were welcoming and efficient. Thank you Kensington Road Surgery

Booked an appointment 12 days in advance for a Shingles Jab. My appointment was for 9.00 am on Tuesday 7th May. At 09.20 the nurse called me in and informed me that that did not have any Shingles vaccines. I don't know why I had to wait half an hour for that is information or why reception was not aware of it. Given my appointment was the first one that week, it must have been known on Friday of the previous week. I also would have thought that 12 days advance notice was enough time to order the necessary vaccines.
