I have been at this surgery for over 23 years and never before have i experienced such a poor operating procedure for ensuring patients are correctly diagnosed and treated. The receptionist are not there to make a diagnosis, they are not there to deflect correctly directed enquiries and they are certainly not there to dismiss patients. I go to the Doctors once maybe every four years, thus one would conclude that dta would indicate if i offer that there is something wrong i be heard. ONE BIG FAIL KELVIN GROVE

This review is for nurse Cheryl. What a wonderful nurse and human being you are. The amount of love and care you have shown me over the past few years will genuinely never ever be forgotten. You truly are one of a kind and I could not be more grateful to you. Your compassion and trust and kindness is unreal.

Absolutely disgusting! Trying to get help for my daughter but cannot get past reception staff who are making medical decisions on how urgent symptoms are. Not even telephone appointment till almost end of March! This GP surgery used to be great, now it is a disgrace! Doctors should be deciding on urgency not receptionists!

So slow at being seen every time I go I’m waiting an hour after I was meant to be seen I’ve had to just walk out multiple times as I’ve waited over an hour, can never get an appointment I rang with fear of failure of multiple organs and the best they could do was give me an appointment in 3 months time whilst other people in waiting rooms get seen the next day with a cold it’s a joke of a place needs some serious work

This is a refresh of my previous review which is actually edited yesterday with a very positive amendment. Sadly today reminded me just how bad they are.

When you can actually get to speak to or even see a GP, the service is actually very good.

The problem lies with the admin / business side.

They’ve sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy three times now. I’ve no idea how this is possible. The pharmacy even wrote to the GP saying don’t send it here anymore. We had verbal confirmation from the staff and still they sent it to the wrong place.

This isn’t paracetamol either. It’s quite a bit more important than that.

The admin staff continue to show their inability to do their job. They hide behind procedure when it suits them but when I ask to see these procedures they can’t provide them. They go through the charade of “seeing if the practice manager is in” but she’s never available. It took almost two months for me to get a meeting between her and Dr Reid.

Incompetent is the only word I can use. They are not competent at their job. They seem amazed that people are getting frustrated and even get Dr Reid to tell us not to be so rude to them, but I wonder if Dr Reid has ever tried to get an appointment with herself; or anyone for that matter.

It’s a serious concern that they are unable to process a prescription properly when we put our lives literally in their hands. This needs to stop happening and the practice needs to start listening to their patients. Or maybe they want us to leave so their workload decreases?

I’d love to hear from the practice manager if she wants to get in touch. I’m sure you’ve got my email address.

My dad was really ill and he wouldn't see anyone till he was so I'll he thought he was dying. I phoned the doctors in the afternoon and a paramedic came and sent him into hospital. There was no fuss, just genuine friendliness both from the paramedic and receptionist. We have been with this doctors for about 7 to 8 yrs. They go above and beyond and for that I am very grateful. Thank you

I am still waiting and it's coming up to 12 weeks And still no contact.
