Well it turns out I know more about the honda crv dpf than them. After spending over 1000 having dpf cleaned (they charged £150 just to reset the dpf which is a 5 minute job calling it a software update to make it sound like its worth more again im not stupid) the light came on about a week later. The car had no fault codes when I originally took it in and non when I took it back again. They gave me the car back with the DPF light on and said I need to drive a long distance to clear it myself. They told me it says this in the manual I have in my car (that I knew wasn't even there) they then tried to look online and failed to find this part of my manual which I know isn't there because ive been looking into all this myself this got me wound up as I knew what they were saying wasn't right and i did wonder if the dpf had been off the car at all as when you know someone is not being honest about one thing you wonder what else they are lieing about anyway I did apologise to them for that because i am fair. YOU CAN NOT CLEAR DPF light on the MK4 CRV by driving it IMPOSSIBLE they had to reset it themselves after they cleaned it because these cars will not do it themselves. The car will not regenerate with this DPF light on either it puts itself into a safe mode for safety reasons. Its either incompetence or worse trying to fob me off because they don't really know what the issue is and they can not be bothered to help. They just want your money and you out the door I can't believe they gave me the car back with the dpf light on after spending all that money as if its a job for me to do. I am very disappointed I hoped this garage was going to be good as having the option to use a loan car is handy for me. I am a single parent and 1000 is a heck of a lot to still be in the exact same position I was before. I asked for a partial refund of £500 which I believe is fair and i will take this down if that happens. They have failed to diagnose what is actually the problem that is stopping the DPF regenerating and they want more money off me to take it back to fail to find it again. I know more about it than them so they are not going to be able to sort it no chance. The customer service is excellent until you have a problem.

I’ve had 5 * service at JVS Lincoln. After another garage messed up, I took my Nissan to JVS and I’m so pleased I did. They kept me informed every step of the way. The guys who work there are ALL brilliant, really great ambiance where the customer comes first! The cost of getting my car safely back on the road wasn’t excessive at all. I’m going to use them in the future for MOT or any repairs. Thanks everyone at JVS for looking after me so well.

Service and MOT and as always an excellent service with friendly staff. Not the cheapest perhaps but I prefer to have my car looked after by experts. I have complete confidence in these people. Very clean premises. They even wash and valet the car as part of the service! They also run me home and collect me when the car is ready. Highly recommended.

Took my Campervan in for diagnostic check after two local garages couldn’t sort it out. JVS were very quick, clear and polite answering the phone and booking me in, within a couple of days. Service, MOT, and brake work on an older model Nissan. Happy with the work, and the price. They did have to order a gasket for a valve cover but when I came back a couple of weeks later, they replaced it in about half an hour.
