Two weeks respite care for my Father that didn’t go well. Care was satisfactory but often long waits for a carer to attend. No hot water for morning wash on multiple occasions and catheter care very poor with staff not having the required skills and not handling equipment properly, significantly increasing the risk of infection. Room wasn’t cleaned regularly enough, including the bathroom which meant it smelt. This continued after it had been brought to the attention of the staff. Also I was not informed my Father would be registered as a temporary resident with another GP Practice and not told, at the of discharge to register him back with his usual GP. As a result, I could not get his routine medical supplies or medication over two weeks after discharge.

Thank you to all the amazing staff who made Christmas Day 2023 such a wonderful day for all the residents and families.
Beautifully decorated, the table was a banquet fit for Royalty.
