We had a package, 4 hours in the Spa, aromatherapy bath and tea and scone. My wife and I have been here a number of times over the years and enjoyed the time there, even had membership for a year. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite the same this time. I first noticed that the temperature of the pool has been turned down. We spent about 4 minutes in the jacuzzi before it was shut for cleaning and never reopened in the 4 hours we were there. The aromatherapy bath had not been cleaned properly and had scum around the sides of the bath. This totally spoilt the experience and is particularly unforgivable. Last time we were served the cream tea in a nice room, this time it was in the main foyer of the spa with lots of staff standing around chatting. It needs some TLC and bringing back up to standard. We will think twice before going again.

I’ve visited this spa three times. The first time, we had to pay for tea, even though it was included in our voucher. The second time, they forgot to give us towels, so we had to ask for them because they were supposed to be included—they made a mistake. On the third visit, there was an error with our booking, and we had to wait two hours for our treatment. We booked the Fire and Ice experience again because we enjoyed it previously, but this time the sauna was cold. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Lovely sized swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym. But all definitely very dated and could use a refurbishment, stains almost everywhere and everything just seems partly broken. Very annoying having to remember trolley coins for the lockers as well this should be updated to a pin code system like other places we've been to. Lovely location and hotel but the facilities need updating.

The actual swimming pool was fine, however the thermal suite is a completely different story. The thermal suite had lots of tiles missing, no steam in the steam room, dirty foot spas, stagnant water sitting on the floor, in the steam room seating area and experience shower. They are well aware of the ongoing issue with drainage, but are still happy to charge people. The thermal suite is grubby and extremely tired.

Went for a half spa day and it was okay. Was not the cleanest spa unfortunately, when I was on the massage table there was makeup and hair all around the face hole, everything was just abit grubby and not looking it's best. Towels and gowns were so rough! And some staff members seemed almost bothered and annoyed by us being there. Massage was good though and so was the thermal room.

Booked one of their offers for two people. It was amazing value for money, therapists were great and very helpful throughout our visit. We also had afternoon tea as part of the offer and we were blown away! It was amazing, great choice of sandwiches and cakes along with as much tea or coffee as we wanted and we could take home anything we couldn't eat there and then. Our favourite dessert was beautifully presented and looked like egg and soilders!! Fab...will definitely be going again and would recommend it ?
