I was extremely pleased with my visit to Ian. After a very brief bit of questioning, he went straight to work trying to identify because of my lack of mobility/strength. In no time at all, he’d identified it gave me a diagnosis and prognosis. He then went to work with some physical checks as well as as a little bit of massage and movement to see whether there’s anything that he could encourage to improve things a little quicker. He was kind enough to tell me that I didn’t need any more appointments, Purely because it would get better on its own. I rather insisted on having another appointment just to make sure that things are progressing as expected. Was nice to feel that the specialist didn’t want to take advantage by booking an unnecessary appointment but, as I said, it was me that insisted on it. That reflects the professionalism shown.

Having never seen an osteopath before, I was sceptical. How wrong I was to feel that way. Ian made me feel comfortable from the off and quickly began assessing me. It didn't take long for him to find the cause and started treatment right away. I was given lots of great advice and I was able to borrow a walking stick for a week. My second appointment was much the same, straight to work and I now feel great! I would highly recommend Ian Pitt to anyone who is thinking of seeing an osteopath. Many thanks.

In response to the review by JR, the patient is very welcome to contact the clinic at any time for a friendly discussion as all other reviews are excellent. Our patients are given the best care possible at the time of their appointment. Sometimes when a patient presents with an acute injury the Osteopaths will provide tentative treatment and advice as the injury could still be evolving. This patient as far we are aware was contacted following treatment to enquire as to their progress and said they were happy. Ian Pitt has 40 years experience and his expertise and knowledge will ensure the patient is given appropriate treatment at the time and all patients are encouraged to give feedback, but preferably not anonymously as this makes it difficult to resolve any disappointment.
