How refreshing to finally be able to get an appt on the day you call with an issue and not have to wake up early on a morning you feel like hell, to stand in a line a dozen deep, to just be turned away after the first 6 people get appointments. Do we live in a 3rd world?
Horizon Health was amazing.
Called at 8:03 in the morning, the automative system held my place in line while I dozed and I received a call back in 30 minutes and had an appt that same day at 10:40!
The clinic was very clean and everyone there was happy to help any way possible, unlike ListerHouse who never saw me in the 4 years i was with them and needed them most.

I saw a paramedic who was lovely but as usual told to come back in a few weeks if nothing gets better. I had already waiting two weeks before booking an appointment because I know that this is a usual response. I feel like I wasn’t taken seriously and now I’ll need to get more time off work at short notice to try and get another appointment rather than it being investigated properly the first time round.

I had a very poor experience with my GP. I have had a benign tumour for about 5-6 years (previously diagnosed elsewhere) that has only recently started to become painful. Without disclosing too much, this lump is in a delicate area and was causing me a lot of discomfort. When I booked in, the reception were lovely but I was in the doctors office for about 3 minutes, absolutely no compassion or bedside manner, no advice on pain medication, and most importantly no physical examination. All he did was tell me he would book me in for a ultrasound scan to investigate but made no effort to provide any advice in the mean time or investigate the matter himself. Safe to say I am incredibly disapointed and I have left feeling very unassured. In previous GP appointments with my last local surgery the doctors would perform physicak examinations to determine changes in size, texture, test for pain amd sensitivity and provided advice and reassurance at each step of the visit. In short, they spent a lot longer than 3 minutes and didn't just give me a phone number to book in with someone else.

Excellent service. Rang and spoke to lovely receptionist who sorted out my appointment and medication very efficiently. I used the ring back service option 1 so didn’t need to hold in queue. Thank you so much for a pleasant service.

I had a medication review with Rachel and again she is the nicest, most caring and non judgmental person I have had the pleasure to encounter at Horizon Healthcare….and I’ve been there many years. She is patient, doesn’t rush and we have an open, two way discussion. Thank you 🤩

I called the surgery to book a GP appointment, but the receptionist I spoke to was rude and dismissive. I wasn’t given an appointment and was just told to try again another day, despite explaining that the pain had been bad enough over the weekend to call 111. Receptionists are the first point of contact for most surgeries and should be warm, kind, and empathetic.

Dr Chinatu Nzekudu Was very rude, kept telling me to be quiet and listen whilst he explained things already stated in previous consultations that did not work, told me I was being aggressive when clearly upset I had wasted my time for the 3rd time. Was suppose to be seeing a dermatologist but the drs didn’t hand over all consultation notes as they told me to try exactly what I had already been doing with worsening symptoms whilst doing so
