My dad was needing additional help around the house for a few hours a day after an accident and the onset of dementia left him unable to do his various daily jobs. My sister and I live hundreds of miles away and unfortunately were unable to help. Home Instead provided an incredible service: the initial consultation was extremely thorough and there was a real desire to want to get to know who dad was as a person rather than just the jobs that needed doing. The care professionals were consistent so that dad built up a really good relationship with them and he was so happy for the good chats and level of care provided. The situation at home got more complicated and Home Instead went the extra mile to ensure more cover could be provided, even at few short notice, and my sister and I always felt we could rely on them. Their amazing care allowed him to stay at home for 6 months before going into a care home. Everyone we met was kind, friendly, compassionate and professional and I would 100% recommend them to anyone wanting outstanding care for their loved one.

Mum needed care after her husband died and she wasn't coping because of dementia. The carers from Home Instead helped us out massively, allowing mum to stay an extra year in her own home before she moved into a care home. Tom and the office staff were extremely accommodating with an ever-changing situation, as mum's dementia posed frequent new challenges. They provided reassurance for my brother and me, who both lived hundreds of miles from mum at the time. The carers who came showed amazing commitment, really showing love and kindness to mum at such a vulnerable time for her. We were really glad to have found Home Instead and would recommend them wholeheartedly.

My elderly mum has dementia which was diagnosed after the loss of her partner 18 months ago. Mum otherwise is physically healthy but it became clear that she needs help with everyday activities and companionship as she is very lonely at times. Myself and my brothers live a long way and dementia means it is not possible to move her closer as change makes her more confused and anxious. I am keen for her to stay in own home for as long as she can, being able to see some friends at clubs she goes to.
I contacted Tom and he came round,carried out an assessment and a programme for carers to support mum was set up. That was 1 year ago.
Mum has a small group of carers who have been gradually introduced, providing companionship and helping mum with shopping, making sure she is eating, helping her with light houseworkand taking her to all health appointments.
I have had regular reviews with senior staff to review the care provided. I feel able to contact the team and they let me know of any concerns.I have spoken to the carers on the phone at the time of their visit if I need help with something .They are all friendly and very caring
There is a comprehensive care folder with a care log of the care provided. I ask Mum to read out what has been written over the phone so we can talk about her day as she often cannot remember.
Administration has been easy to set up .Mum and I both get a schedule for the carers who will be coming the week before.
For me the service they provide reassures me that mum is cared for but still able to live independently in her own home.

I cannot recommend Home Instead West Norfolk enough! Tom and Laura I have known for a while now and they are so incredibly passionate about what they do. After all thats what care is about and you won't find two people more passionate about what good care looks like than here! They offer so much support also to local providers and thats what makes them different. They want the same outcome and are not corporate. They really have a family feel and this shines a mile in all they do! I would have absolutely no hesitation in using Home Instead as a Care Provider. I know first hand how much they care about their customers and they are professional yet go above and beyond always!

Home Instead Kings Lynn standard of care towards my Father was amazing. Dad has dementia but they treated him with kindness, respect and compassion. Their promise of companionship was delivered over and above expectations.

The ladies that look after my mum are great. Tom and the team back at the office are always available if you have an emergency. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Home Instead if you want to keep your parent at home for as long as possible. Excellent.

I highly recommend this company. My mother has benefited from their care for over a year now. I live outside the country and am thankful for their fabulous carers who take such good care of my mother. It gives me great peace of mind knowing that she is in such capable hands.
