I didn't visit the actual house however there is a lovely walk along past the house where you can access the river with it's big, wide waterfall. Great for the kids to throw stones. You often see herons down here and then you can follow the path round either back into Denton Holme or the other way into the reside tial area or enjoy a longer walk around the back of the cemetery and there's also a route which takes you as far as Dalston.
It makes for a lovely walk on a nice day. Just keep your eyes peeled for dog poo and broken glass. Particularly near what's known as The Bay.

First visit for granddaughter’s birthday party. It was amazing! So well thought out and organised. 12 ten year old girls had a marvellous time, with so many activities on offer, they were spoilt for choice. Would heartily recommend

A lovely location with really lovely owners. Will totally be bringing my little people again. The space upstairs is superb with woodwork, lots of art options, textiles, modelling materials etc. Downstairs was closed off but looks amazing and my nearly year old is itching to get playing down there next visit. My nearly 5 year old loved it all and there were kids from my 2 year old to a 13 year old getting stuck in and enjoying it.

Took my two grandchildren today.
So much for them to do.
They made animals out of clay.
Painted lovely pictures
Made woolly monsters
Climbed the indoor trees
There were snacks and drinks available fir them but they didn’t want to stop for those?
The owners are lovely and very helpful
