First class surgery and staff, nothing is to much trouble that includes the receptionists.
The new online system really works well for checking your medical history and repeat prescriptions, today I needed to see a doctor booked an appointment on line saw the Doctor at 10.45.
Excellent service

Horrendous practice, practically have to be dying and even then just get told to go to Accident and Emergency and wait 13hrs. Happy for a 14 year old disabled child to be taking immense amounts of pain killers that aren't even helping, can't get an appointment and then asked I'd the future appointment should be face to face or on the telephone? What the hell are these doctors doing nowadays?

Having to sit on hold for hours, using the “callback” feature which is as good as hanging up the phone, being turned away by reception and having to get medical advice from a pharmacist which should have come from a doctor are just some of the reasons I didn’t clap for the NHS.

I remember being furious when they tried to shut down this surgery and now I am confused as to what purpose it actually serves. Not a clue where my national insurance is going (probably down south?) because it definitely isn’t being spent here.

Recently registered my newborn at hedon holderness health to be then sent a letter to say I have been registered here despite living 20 miles away. Furthermore as I write this review I have now been sat on the phone for just short of 1 hour 20 minutes, god knows how long it may be until I actually get through to make my son’s appointment for his injections. This is a joke of a service, I have never known a wait time so long on a Wednesday afternoon, I am not even calling first thing in the morning.

If you can’t handle the volume of patients you have (which clearly this practice can’t) simply don’t accept new patients.

9 o’clock in the morning, one hour after opening

“Please note all appointments are taken for the day”

What kind of a practice is being run here? How can all appointments be already be taken especially when they’re over the phone!?

I would absolutely love to see the schedule for each Dr’s workload as I can assure you there is no monitoring of this Surgery whatsoever or a quota to meet.

This is without going into the fact that you are on standby for an hour yet the phones are almost always silent whenever you actually go into the surgery.

When they finally do pick up the phone ( expect a long wait ) then you have to explain in detail what is wrong with you for them to determine if its urgent enough for you to been seen. Its ridiculous. I don't know why anyone but the doctor needs to know what I'm phone for.
Why can't they just they just answer the phone and book an appointment.
The next person other than the doctor to ask for my medical background or conditions better have a medical degree. Which I will be expecting to be shown when I get to the practice.

Appalling.
Been waiting for someone to pick up the phone for FORTY MINUTES. Trying to get an appointment for a poorly child and the looped awful music and prerecorded reassurance that “One of out team will be with you shortly” has been a sheer waste of time. Why does it take so long for a person to answer the telephone?
My daughter had a phone appointment a fortnight ago and she might as well have been speaking to the surgery cat for all the help it did. “If you get any worse then do please call us back…” was what my daughter was told. Hmm! The staff might try answering the telephone instead of having that dreadful looped music a token message.
I have never know such abysmal service from an institution that has a DUTY OF CARE for its local community.

My father in law has been sent letters asking him to make an appointment for his diabetes check up. He's also experiencing a lot of leg pain. He's been trying for months to get an appointment and keeps getting told to try again next month. This is diabolical
Update. My father in law's neighbour had to break into his house last week as he'd had a hypo and was on the floor. It has angred the family as not being able to get a diabetic review hasn't helped as problems could have been noticed. He was taken to Hedon practice who have been wonderful and couldn't believe he'd not been seen
1 star is because it won't let me post none
