Mixed Experience at Hill Street Surgery: Staff and Doctors Shine, but Call Queue and Website Issues.

I visited Hill Street Surgery recently and found a mix of positive and negative aspects. The staff and doctors at Hill Street Surgery are exceptional, displaying professionalism and care. However, I must address concerns regarding the call queue and website functionality.

The staff at Hill Street Surgery are truly wonderful. They greet patients with warm smiles and provide helpful assistance. The receptionists are attentive and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The doctors at Hill Street Surgery are knowledgeable and attentive, providing accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Their expertise and compassion are greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, the efficiency of the call queue system has declined. Wait times have increased significantly, with twenty or more callers ahead. This extended wait time can be frustrating, particularly for those seeking urgent medical advice or appointments. I urge the management of Hill Street Surgery to address this issue promptly to prevent patient dissatisfaction and potential delays in accessing healthcare services.

Furthermore, the website of Hill Street Surgery has functional problems. It is challenging to navigate and access vital information. Technical glitches, error messages, and pages that fail to load properly are common occurrences. This can be incredibly frustrating for patients relying on the website to find essential details about services, opening hours, or to book appointments. It is crucial that the management of Hill Street Surgery takes notice of these issues and rectifies them promptly.

Moreover, it is highly recommended that Hill Street Surgery provides an email address for patients to contact them. This additional communication channel would improve accessibility and offer an alternative to congested phone lines. Email communication can be more convenient for non-urgent medical advice or administrative queries. Implementing an email contact option would benefit both Hill Street Surgery and its patients, facilitating more efficient communication.

Lastly, a disappointing experience occurred when filling out a form on Hill Street Surgery's website. After spending ten minutes completing the form, it returned an error 404 page. This was frustrating and felt like a waste of time. It is disheartening to encounter such issues that hinder patients from accessing the services they need. Hill Street Surgery should prioritize resolving these technical glitches to enhance the user experience and prevent further patient frustration.

In conclusion, while Hill Street Surgery's staff and doctors deserve commendation, there are concerns regarding the extended call queue and persistently problematic website. I hope the management of Hill Street Surgery takes these suggestions seriously, addressing call queue concerns, fixing website functionality, and considering an email contact option. By making these improvements, Hill Street Surgery can provide an even better experience for its patients.

My sister & I are just changing from this medical1 practice & I'm amazed at how quick they are at registering & transferring our medical notes, it's only taking 48hrs (2 days from handing in our new patient forms) where as it took the doctors surgery that I'm transferring from over 4 weeks to sort everything out. Even though the reception staff are friendly this doctors surgery keeps getting mine & my sister's prescription wrong. I have to keep requesting some of my medication every week, instead if either monthly or longer, especially when the medication in question as they are important as they medication is very strong pain tablets and important tablets for my stomach problems. This GP is ok for people who don't visit the doctor very much.

If I could rate just 1 star I would. The absolute WORST surgery that I’ve ever been to as a patient, Dr. Hook is amazing! However Dr. Suryani is incompetent, I pay my taxes which a cut goes to the NHS for proper healthcare! Dr. Suryani seems to not understand that concept, always trying to save money where necessary and doesn’t give patients the proper treatment they deserve. I had a cyst that needed to get cut out of my scalp and he said he wasn’t able to do it because they don’t do it on the NHS... how not so surprising that I change surgery and they have taken it out for me? Dr. Suryani needs to be crossed off as a Doctor, so much people I know have moved surgery because of the lack of that mans knowledge. He has no idea what he’s talking about! ?

This was a brilliant surgery before they become part of health and beyond they used to answer within minutes but now I've been on hold for 4 hours and they've still not answered me so to solve my boredom I'm writing this. I've been caller number 4 for the past 19 minutes

Possibly one of the worst places I've used (dr hook is great) rude receptionists and incompetent doctors. Was relieved to get away from here. Needs shutting down or at least all new staff.
