Higher Bebington Pharmacy

I use this pharmacy regularly for myself and family. The repeat prescription service is very reliable. I have recently used the pharmacy for a consultation to obtain a prescription without the need for a GP appointment. I was seen promptly, after completing a short questionnaire, by a very competent and approachable pharmacist. All staff at this practice are friendly, professional and very helpful.

Very friendly staff who are always trying their best but it feels like they are at overcapacity sometimes and perhaps need more staff. There's used to be a second pharmacy in higher Bebington village which shut down within the last year. This means more people using Higher Bebington pharmacy which could possibly explain the stock issues. I don't think I've had a prescription lately where something wasn't owing. Obviously there are a lot of stock problems out of their control that are nationwide but it does feel like you have to go back a lot. Most people in the queue are also told the same thing. I also miss the late night open hours, they used to be open a lot later which was really useful when you work full time. Unfortunately now there's always a mad rush before half 6 when everyone finishes work. The staff are lovely though especially the older male pharmacist who is very professional and helpful.

Extremely mismanaged and has been for years. I switched from them years ago because they are so awful. I used to have to wait for a half hour or more to even begin to sort out my prescriptions being filled and then they would be consistently be out of medications. Rude staff. Today I happened to be at an appointment. Was trying to make a simple purchase. Kept me waiting and waiting. Literally no one else needed serving as one other customer was waiting for a prescription. Two staff just ignored me. I said can I just purchase this item? Both staff turned to me and simultaneously sneered at me. Then I'm told it's a minimum card purchase amount of £5, and I was buying something for £3. No sign saying minimum purchase and seriously, at a pharmacy? I just left and walked out. Honestly the WORST local pharmacy which needs serious management training. (Just overheard the pharmacy messing up another person's prescription.?‍♀️) Advice: Switch to another pharmacy. Literally any.

I stopped using this pharmacy due to the extensive waiting times. It's one thing queuing for attention, but there is always a wait for medicine. And they have twice had insufficient stock. Staff are dismissive to the point of being rude, And can frequently be heard correcting elderly customers instead of assisting them. To top it off, there is an archaic minimum purchase fee for card use. So, forget getting pain killers or sundries. Waste of space. They should put more parking spaces there instead.

Thank you! I went to the pharmacy for assistance with a sore throat and cough as my GP had closed for the afternoon. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and I really appreciated their help and advice. Fully satisfied and would return again if I was ever in the same situation.

Great pharmacy with very nice staff indeed. Had to wait a minute or two to be served but you can see that they are all busy in the back. I got my prescription items really quickly and although one item was short, I was told it was it if such and to speak to my GP to arrange something else. What did annoy me was the other people waiting to be served. Tutting and groaning about having to wait. These people are the type to order a home delivery pizza that takes half an hour to arrive, but ask them to wait 5 minutes so that a prescription can be done is too much for them. How the staff here vote with this all the time is beyond me.

I was made up that this pharmacy had what I needed after driving to 6 other pharmacies. Staff were friendly and helpful

Amazing service from Fergie the Pharmacist yesterday. He made me feel completely at ease about my medications and instructed perfect use for them. He spoke to me in a private room ensuring my details were kept confidential and even stayed open a few minutes later to ensure i had the correct prescription. Would definitely recommend this pharmacy.
