I came here some time ago for acupuncture. I was advised by my naturopath not to do the herbs for now but just acupuncture. The owner at high view made it very clear she didn't agree and was quite rude and blunt about it. Because of this she seemed to have a bad attitude towards me all the way through my treatment as she kept bringing it up again throughout and was very rough with me physically, like she was angry and trying to take it out on me. She didn't ask me if I wanted cupping (which I didnt), she just went ahead and gave it to me with no choice. I came out in extreme pain because of this and because of how rough she was with me. She knew i had a pain condition and kept poking and prodding me saying..my condition can't be that bad if prodding me didn't hurt. Well if she knew anything about my condition she would know how much I would pay for it afterwards. It took me over a week of not being able to walk to recover. This along with the bad attitude and lack of respect means I won't be going here again.
In addition when I first phoned to make an appointment I had flu and she said you must come in right away or you will get worse. I felt this was scare mongering and I'm glad I waited because god knows how much worse i would have felt afterwards if I had taken her advice.
