Over the past two years, my journey with the & ? ? ? has been a roller-coaster of emotions, with both commendable highs and disheartening lows. It's deeply troubling to experience such disparities in care, where certain staff members exhibit utmost dedication, while others seemingly remain indifferent.

Regrettably, my mental health today is more precarious than it was at the outset of my association with them. There have been instances where conversations were not documented accurately, leading to misconceptions. At times, it felt as if my words were manipulated to fit a predetermined narrative or depict patients in an unfavorable light. The inconsistency in their phone responsiveness is another point of contention; some appear disengaged, whereas others demonstrate genuine concern. The frequency with which my emails get overlooked only adds to my frustration.

I genuinely believe a revamped approach could significantly improve the patient experience. Their assessment suggests I'm too ill for trauma therapy, yet I contend that without such intervention, my recovery remains elusive, if not miraculous.

On a brighter note, I had a commendable experience with my former Community Psychiatric Nurse, . His move to the & ? in Chapel-En-Le-Frith (Suite 4, Cromwell Buisness Centre) was a significant loss for me. While ?, my current CPN, possesses impressive expertise, I've yet to witness its profound impact on my treatment. Expressing myself and having my concerns genuinely acknowledged has been a consistent challenge.

, a Community Support Worker for the team is brilliant, she always lends a compassionate ear.

My interactions with . , the Psychiatrist, often leaves me feeling unheard. The scarcity of appointments combined with their brief durations doesn't aid my cause. The impression I get is that my opinions fall on deaf ears, receiving no validation. He seems to dislike it when you challenge his opinions. In fact most Pschatrists do.

It's concerning to feel that intelligence or the capability to work is misinterpreted as a sign of well-being. High functionality shouldn't mask or undermine the depths of one's struggles. Just because someone might appear stable or articulate doesn't negate their internal battles.
