We've just finished the Margate course with the wonderful Frances. As first time parents we didn't have a clue what to expect before, during and after birth and after being invited to a WhatsApp group with all the other parents on our course, turns out we weren't the only ones!!

Frances guided us through each session with incredibly clear information and allowed PLENTY of time for questions from us very clueless parents. Frances made us feel so at ease about what we were going through during pregnancy and her approach to the birth itself has allowed us to be excited about the experience and not at all terrified - something I NEVER thought I'd feel.

It was sad knowing our sessions had to come to an end, but we have gained a group of friends and a guide that we will hopefully stay in touch with for life.

Thanks so much Frances & Sam, without you and these sessions, our whole approach to birth & parenthood would be completely different!

Sam was my doula for the hospital birth of my baby. She provided me with much needed support before the birth, during labour, and then post-partum.

She's knowledgable about the maternity system in East Kent because she's gone through it all herself. But most importantly, Sam's beautiful soul and empathy shine through as a doula. She made me feel validated and listened to when I came to her with all my worries.

Post-partum, she patiently gave me the time to reflect on my labour experiences. I'll never forget Sam's role in the birth of my baby, and I can now count her as a friend, too.

Me and my husband just finished our Hey Baby classes and we couldn’t recommend it enough! Sam is brilliant, she taught us so much in a short period of time and has been so caring and supportive throughout the whole process. Not only do we feel like we know so much more now about becoming parents, we also changed our views about a lot of aspects of pregnancy/ birthing/ parenthood. The sessions with Hannah and Frances were also very helpful. 100% recommend!

Both my husband and I attended Sam’s classes. Sam was made for this. We didn’t realise how much we didn’t know - and the fear around birthing. We left feeling informed of our options and feeling confident of how we navigate forward and quite excited to give birth ! No question was left unanswered. The group were great and we were at ease. Sam you’re incredible at what you do. If anyone is hesitant about booking , don’t be.

We are so glad that we booked with Sam and don’t feel that we would have had the same experience elsewhere. The group that we met on our course have become some of my closest friends. To share the highs and lows of the postnatal period, currently 15 months on from the birth of my son and the girls are the people I have shared my postnatal MH struggles with, the highs of new milestones & the lows, including sleepless nights and tantrums.
Having a group of people at the end of a phone to call/voice note and message for advice or solidarity is invaluable and we all thank Sam and her course for putting us together 🤍
Sam focused on a holistic and mother centred approach, I found it really empowering and important to note that we as birthing parents do not need to ‘do as we are told’.
The wrap around support of being able to contact Sam whenever, as well as her postnatal meet ups is unlike any other offering.
