I haven’t been to a dentist for over 20 years after having a traumatic experience as a child, followed by a bad experience in my early twenties having two front crowns fitted. My crowns became old and out of shape and discolored and really affected my every day appearance aswell as my confidence. Fast forward to last year when I got an abcess that was so bad I had no option but to go to a dentist!
My husband had been a patient of Dr Hughes for a few years and persuaded me to go.
My first visit I was a shaking nervous wreck!! However that soon changed due to the care, professionalism and compassion from Dr Hughes, Kate and the team. I felt extremely comfortable in their hands. I have now had the treatment needed to get my teeth and mouth healthy and have since go on and had cosmetic work to correct the terrible crowns I already had!! Today I left the surgery beaming with the biggest smile!!! Something I haven’t felt comfortable doing in years! In fact I haven’t stopped smiling all day!! I can not thank Dr Hughes, Kate and all the other staff that have been a part of my treatment the last 6 months or so enough. I literally felt like crying when seeing the final result today so thank you all so much for having such patience and care for me ❤️❤️❤️ I am now signed up to regular plan and will never miss a dentist appointment again thank you xxx

I've been a patient at Hewlett Road dental Surgery for many years and I've experienced nothing but the best treatment for myself and my family ! The reception team are always welcoming and helpful and the treatment my family have received from my dentist Sue Jones and my hygienist Ursalla Andrews has been great , both herself and her nursing team have always been kind, diligent and supportive . I've always felt very confident that the treatment I've received has been of a very high level of quality. I can't recommend the service Hewlett Road dental surgery provide highly enough .

I had to visit the guys here in an emergency, the service and staff are great and I had an appointment the same day, they were quick and efficient and my tooth problem was sorted that afternoon. Highly recommend using Hewlett Road dental, I have since signed up for a payment plan for further dental appointments and hygienist visits. Special shout to Emma on reception for all her help and reassurance.

The best service I have ever received at a dental practice. I visited Hewlett Road Dental a month or so ago for the first time having left after 10 years by the previous one ( very local) and joined the practice dental plan recently. the practice feels relaxed, clean and comfortable. The Dentist is fantastic. My dentist Dr Susan Jones who has looked after my wife and kids , is amazing. We both sing her praises for her caring nature and professionalism. She is knowledgeable, helpful and brings a spark of light in the darkness of one's dental issues. She explains the treatment in great detail to the patient, involving them every step of the way.
I highly recommend this practice.

Took my Daughter here for one of her first check ups and I am so happy with how well they treated her really. Really attentive to her needs and reacted to her amazingly well.

Me and my wife have never gone for private dental care but looking at the prices and how reasonable they are we couldn’t help but sign up.

They really look after their patients and go way further then I thought they would with the care and advice they provide.

A Lifesaver in a Pinch!

I recently had to schedule a last-minute appointment with this dentist, and I can't express enough how grateful I am for their prompt and exceptional service. Despite the urgency, the staff was incredibly accommodating and understanding.
From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calming, and the receptionist worked swiftly to get me registered. The dentist, Dr. Susan Jones, was not only professional but also took the time to explain the procedure and answer all my questions patiently.
The level of care and precision during the treatment was impressive, showcasing the dentist's expertise. What could have been a stressful experience turned out to be a seamless and positive one, thanks to the efficiency and skill of the entire team.
I highly recommend this dentist, especially if you find yourself in need of urgent dental care. They truly live up to the standard of excellence, even in last-minute situations. A big thank you to the entire team for saving the day!

So im not a patient but i did some work there and sustained a nasty injury with a Stanley blade and cut my thumb pretty bad . The staff were so good with looking after me and making sure i got to the hospital and waiting with me aswell . Thankyou so much

I had a filling, from a previous dentist, that cracked open. I was due to go in holiday within the next 48 hours and the pain/sensitivity would have ruined it. The receptionist team arranged for me to have an emergency appointment within 24 hours so a temporary fix could be made, allowing me to eat, drink and enjoy my holiday. With a follow-up appointment after I got back to fix it properly. Great service.
