Great service directed from 111 , on time and friendly dr when I urgently needed to see someone. It’s also worth saying the blood tests here are generally great- especially if you don’t like needles! Gentle staff. Also last year I had experience with the maternity team and the midwife how conducted my booking in appointment was fantastic

It's an NHS hospital in Herford. I came with my friend and the doctors and staff were very caring. May this hospital contain lots of specialists. There is a big Parking space. however it's paid parking. Indeed 3.5 Pounds per hour. So it's quite expensive. So plan based on your appointment. Parking won't accept your cards. It takes only coins. If you want to pay by card then use the SABA APP. If you are hungry there is a small cafe for the quick bite.

Visited for a simple procedure so didn't see too much of the hospital.

A reasonable sized car park. Not sure if it is appropriate for busy periods.

Upon entering the hospital a receptionist asked if he could help. I said that I was trying to pay for parking. I gave him my registration number and he said that would be OK.

The entrance is spacious and well signed posted. Clean with plenty of seating. NHS free wifi available.

I cannot comment on what facilities the hospital has.

This review is personally for Lindsay Yates in the radiology department. I was a little concerned with my results, but her professionalism put my mind at ease. She talked to me throughout the entire procedure, asked if I had any concerns or questions and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire time she was present. Couldn’t have asked for more from her

Dr sheraz and nurse Esther, Dermatology dermatology department outstanding care and of exceptional professionalism?They treated me with respect kindness, care and empathetic. I don't think I have been treated so well for such a long time in any hospital.
It would be so nice if doctors Anne says for a disexample it would make the world easier to run.Thank you once again.

Yo, I cannot believe how Hertford County Hospital copes with the multitude of demands upon it & does so with such a professional & kind manner. The Phlebotomy Department is under a huge strain… they have Appointments; they have Walk ins sent by GPs; they have people sent from other departments to get a blood test…e.g a Maternity Appt leads to a blood test. I can only applaud the team for their efforts & their professionalism. I went there today 26/11/2024 as a walk in sent by my GP. I had a 90minute wait & boy did I see life at it's best! Whilst staff remained professional & pleasant the people in waiting room were a joy 😊 to behold! Mrs Brown coat kept going up to Reception & Phlebotomists to nag/ Mr Beard was rude & aggressive/ Mrs Blue coat just kept pacing & getting in the way/ Ms Black Baggy trousers hadn't a clue about appropriate behaviour/ Ms Ear Phones didn't hear name called so had to be searched for! Thank you Hertford County Phlebotomy Dept for your continued service!!!

I only gave it this so I could review . Hour & half on phone still no answer 111 useless as well as GP practice . Waiting a year and a half still no treatment . NHS should be shut down waisting peoples lives away

The radiology department were lovely. They helped me a lot and understood my requirements, in that I have autism and anxiety and let me wait somewhere quiet. They were approachable, kind hardworking and respectful so thank you for making the visit accessible 🙂
