The nurse who I seen at Heather Brook surgery was very nice. Although the person who booked my appointment over the phone was very rude and not empathetic to my needs, as I tried explaining to him I do not drive and have to rely on family to take me that far, especially when I have registered at Pasley Road health centre which is on my doorstep.

I attended an appointment at Heatherbrook as it is part of the trust my own surgery falls under. In general, I cannot find very much positive to say about Willows Health at all BUT the nurse whom I met at Heatherbrook could not have been more helpful, compassionate or welcoming. I just wish that all Willows Health employees could learn from her as she was brilliant.

Went for blood tests that I was told i needed to do by text , so I made the appointment and went ,, I was also due to collect my tablets for the month that day ,, which I had already submitted a repeat prescription a week before ! I went to the chemist to get me meds ,and not there !! I go to tell the receptionist what was the problem ,,the best she could do was get me them by Monday ,, meaning 3 days with out medication ! I then went and seen the nurse to have my bloods taken , to be told she didn’t know why I was there and I didn’t need to do anything at all !! Now this is not the first time I’ve had problems with this surgery and I’ve had about enough of it !! Where is there care of duty and a bit of empathy for there patients? Heatherbrook surgery you need to sort yourself out and deliver a better service !

Absolutely abysmal, you can never get an appointment, the receptionist is so quiet you cannot hear her from behind the bullet proof glass, either the "doctor" is never in or never available, the surgery does not run on time.
And if you somehow manage to get an appointment you will be referred and put on the NHS waiting list forever.

It would have been good to have been told what my blood was being tested for on my visit to the surgery and also to get some feedback from the results, particularly in terms of my cholesterol readings. It would be good to know if these were better or worse than when I was in hospital so that I can make more dietary adjustments if required. Just to be told that the results showed nothing untoward isn't very helpful. Could someone share the results with me please?

I was requested to make an appointment at Heatherbrook surgery by their own pharmacist, they would/could not make one for 2 months. After getting the care body involved they managed to make one a lot sooner. On attending the appointment the nurse tried to get me an urgent appointment to see a doctor, but was unable, I was told to ring next morning at 8.00am to make a same day appointment. I rang at bang on 8.00am and when they answered at 8.13 they told me there were none available at Heatherbrook.
This practice has gone from bad to worse and does not even deserve 1* for patient care or service.

Since my last review and complaint things seem to have improved, I have managed to get appointments in a reasonable time at my own surgery lately. However when ringing at 8.00am to get a same day appointment it is still usual to wait up to 30 minutes or longer to get answered.
The doctors and nurses are usually very helpful, polite and friendly when you see them and my reviews should not be a reflection on them.

I was very pleased, having arrived for a Shingles jab Reena Bharadwa, the nurse noticed that I was due for an annual diabetic review, and proceeded do that as well. An excellent use of both her time and mine.

Firstly I had no problem booking an appointment online. The GP I saw was very thorough and asked lots of questions. She also took her time and my appointment didn't wasn't rushed at all.
