Our mum stayed in Hawthorn Court Care home for over 2 years after becoming unable to care for herself at 89 years old. From the moment she entered she was really well looked after by the caring owners, managers and staff. Her room had a view overlooking Swansea Bay and in her final days, she was able to look out over where she was born and raised. She was always clean, warm, comfortable and safe here. My sister and I were always warmly welcomed when we visited Mum, who recently passed away. The owners and several members of the staff attended her funeral (on their day off), which shows how much they cared. We cannot praise them highly enough. Highly recommended Care home. With increasing work hours I had no choice but to find a day care centre for my grandmother.

Everytime my grandmother attends Hawthorne she has the most wonderful time.

The staff are very attentive and really do everything they can to help make the residents as comfortable as possible.

It is like one big happy family where the rooms are filled with laughter and chatting.

this home is the best that anyone could imagine, the staff care for the people as though they were their own, i cannot speak so highly of everyone, its not a home for elderly, its a home from home, the staff absolutely go that extra mile they are surely the best carers i have ever come across. i know this from experience i deal with nursing homes , hawthorn court is the most wonderful place to have a relative live, and i mean live, they are so loved by everyone

Awful place, dad stayed there for a couple of days last year. Didn't follow any of procedures they said they would. Dad ended up in hospital as a result. Swansea Council found them guilty in failure of his care. Yet are still allowed to work as a "care home". If you value the health of your friends and family, avoid this place like the plague.
