Harnell lane gave me a varied experience. Some doctors are cold & abrupt while a few doctors are more understanding.
My new GP surgery at Forum Health Centre is a breath of fresh air with hands on fast response care after only seeing 1 GP who was compassionate kind & very knowledgeable.

I made an appointment with my GP following them contacting me about a flu jab. I also wanted a covid jab, but when I contacted my GP they said they didn't do them. So I had to make a separeate appointment at Cheylesmore . Remember this is all local and NHS!!
Anyway, I attended for my flu jab ok, but when I went for my Covid jab the following day at Cheylesmore, they said I couldn't have one as I hadn't had the Covid jab at the same time as the Flu jab. - so I would have to wait at least another week to have the covid jab. I was not made aware of this by either surgeries beforehand. What a palaver! Why can't surgeries under the NHS providing these jabs get their acts together - and talk to each other? And why can't the NHS advertise it more accurately, telling people what the system can provide?

Extremely efficient vaccination arrangements at the Green Lane medical centre last week. Production line of elderly patients with one arm bared, shuffling in a continuously moving queue round the waiting room, past Dr Kapma, all vaccinated without pause, then sent into the nurses’room for the atrial fibrillation test - whole procedures completed in less than five minutes!

Over the years, I haven't visited the doctors at Harnell lane, very often. But I usually try and see one of the female doctors when possible. Lately I have been seen by Dr Moore who listens to my concerns and has been very thorough in my care. The reception staff are always helpful. All round good experience.

They're genuinely caring, attentive, and always take the time to listen to every concern I bring up. Their kindness and willingness to understand make every visit a reassuring experience.

Booking appointments here is hassle-free, thanks to the efficient receptionists who make everything run smoothly. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a comfortable atmosphere. I have never had any trouble getting an appointment when needed, and the level of service has always exceeded my expectations.

Dr Kapma is a long standing doctor that I’ve know for 25 years. Always polite, well mannered and understanding
