Hampshire Wellbeing Centre

HWC was recommended by my consultant following knee surgery. Service was great right from initial contact and Mel has been amazing helping me build strength to get back to sport safely. Will definitely be recommending to all my team mates for their various niggles! Thanks Mel :)

I’ve been going to the Hampshire wellbeing centre for years. Paul has been really helpful getting me through a number of issues I’ve had. Most recently I’ve been to Paul about my knee, he diagnosed the issue quickly and easily and prescribed exercises and shockwave therapy that really helped me progress and heal. Couldn’t recommend more.

I saw Joanna Spencer here for several months after an operation to repair a broken clavicle. She was professional and also empathetic and undoubtedly helped accelerate my recovery. I'd highly recommend.

I have been looked after Paul McIntyre for my hip and Neck who has helped me immensely. Paul is very knowledgeable, personal, and has great communication skills. He has helped my son and daughter too. My daughter is a professional dancer who injured her ankle during a show last winter. Paul saw her in an emergency appointment. He gave her some exercises to do at home and taught her how to stripe her ankle allowing her to carrying on her show. We were so grateful. Carole at the reception always welcome us with a big smile. The whole team is just perfect. Highly recommend

Due to couple time of twisting my right ankle , I've being referred to Hampshire Wellbeing Centre . Mrs. Mel South is a fabulous physio helped me returning to my usual exercises and Zumba classes after I stopped it for while due to the pain of my ankle. She did a great help , very professional patient, and knowledgeable and kind all the time. I’ve made really speedy progress and really grateful to Mel and appreciate all the efforts she done and get me back to my normal life. I thank all staff of that center for their warm welcoming and help.

Mel South at Hampshire Wellbeing Centre is a fabulous physio helping me return to running after ankle surgery. She is very knowledgeable and experienced, innovative, listens and is patient, positive, kind and fun. I’ve made really speedy progress thanks to Mel being such a great physio. The facilities at the Centre are great and there’s always a warm welcome at reception.

Visiting Hampshire Wellbeing Centre for physio following a Tibial Plateau comminuted fracture. Paul McIntyre has been working with me on my rehabilitation, he is great! He's understanding, and communicates my recovery steps really well, he creates my exercise regime and clearly explains every step! I am now 20 weeks post surgery and I am seeing great results through my regular sessions with Paul. Highly recommend!

I first saw Paul McIntyre in July 2022 following a knee arthroscopy. From the moment I met Paul he put me at ease and instilled me with absolute confidence. He is extremely personable and has an excellent manner and approach and really helped with my rehab and rebuilding my confidence. I was religious in doing the exercises he gave me which really helped. I then had to see Paul again earlier this year in February 2023 following a major ankle fusion operation and I had no doubt he would once again get me back on my feet - and this he did! I would have no hesitation in recommending Paul and the Hampshire Wellbeing Centre.
