We've been really happy with this surgery. Although our family doesn't need to visit often, we've always been able to get an appointment when needed. Most recently, my youngest daughter received great care from Dr. Price. Thank you all.

Very very dissatisfied and feel I have been hoodwinked and fobbed off! The doctor told me he was seeking advice to help decide what medication I needed. This was a lie. I suggest if you speak on the phone to these doctors that you record the conversation. I’m left with terrible anxiety and no help from gp. I have today received a letter proving that he did not request advice for himself. He instead has tried to pass me on, fobbed me off so I’m no longer his problem! I have had nothing but problem after problem. I’ve written complaints that get ignored. AVOID THIS SURGERY. It’s not worth the stress and anxiety.

I found the telephone conversation I had with a receptionist very helpful. She provided me with all the information she was allowed to and explained how I could proceed best with my query. She was very friendly and did not rush our conversation. A welcome change to many similar calls with other health professionals I have made in the past.

They need shutting down they don’t help people they cause them more stress, anxiety and problems. They then further cause issues as it then makes people not want to go to the doctors when they have problems.. It’s a disgrace of a practice and all of the reception staff and doctors need further training in everything physically possible. They keep denying my mother her anxiety medication for no reason given, theve now told her to have a review with the mental health team (not the right cause of action) that will tell her to go back to doctors for medication…... it’s ridiculous they keep sending her round in circles considering a doctor had just upped her medication for anxiety and a week after there saying she can’t have it. And it’s not the first time!! She got told LAST WEEK that she needed a review on her repeat prescription otherwise they wouldn’t give her her amitriptyline, I had needed a review for over a month but had no issue in giving me my medication!!! They also “lost” a prescription it just “disappeared” when I handed it in myself. This place is atrocious if your thinking of signing up here DO NOT. I had an issue with my back and the receptionist refused to let me see a doctor and booked me in for physio … it was so serious when a doctor from hall grove saw me (had to get the appointment through 101) I got sent to lister hospital because I could’ve had a condition that paralysed me!!!

A shocking GPs surgery. Nigh on impossible to contact them. States surgeries and eConsult services are open from 0800. Neither are available. Voicemail states 0830 opening times. eConsult, when apparently open to take reports, states 'currently closed. Try again tomorrow', every single time I attempt to access it. Phone lines are no longer automated so prepare to wait 15-20+ minutes to try and get through to anyone. Majority of the time the call drops. GP follow-ups, e.g. after bloodworks, never gets followed up. I, the patient has to do all the legwork to obtain my own results and feedback! Utterly shambolic. Far better of calling 111.

It is almost impossible to get an appointment with this surgery. You call, you are told to use the e-consult surgery. The e-consult website is available and open for about 10 minutes in the morning and then closes, but it doesn't actually say why. Then one day you magically get through to the e-consult, answer about 20 different questions - turns out this thing is actually trying to diagnose you - which it surprise, surprise - cannot. Then you need to call through to reception, but by that point you can't actually book an appointment because you've spent 5-10 minutes going through an e-consult which doesn't work and by the time you've called reception they are in disbelief that the crappy chatbot hasn't miraculously cured you and oh yes... they have no appointments available.

So sad to have to write this because I do like the surgery overall. Having just left the NHS as a practice manager, I am quite shocked at the current appointment system. NHS England pushed the online access model to enable all patients greater access to their GP (econsult) but I am yet to see a practice that shut there’s off after 10 minutes of being open. It’s quite shocking and needs to be reviewed. I do understand the system needs a cut off point but for people like the elderly, it takes them a while to figure out how to use the online form! I have tried last week for my 5 year old and this morning at 8:33am and it’s been closed.

I’m coming from working at a practice where we would keep our online system (patch’s) open until midday, to allow people time AND when the portal was closed for the day, patients could still ring and the reception team would give them advice (using tel triage protocol). Just so patients feel helped. The time needs to be reviewed. It’s not good enough.

First class! The doctor and the two trainees I saw were lovely and very helpful. I was able to get an appointment the same day. I have been with this surgery for many years and would highly recommend them.
