I have always received good service over the years. I have been lucky enough to not need them much, but sometimes feel it is a battle getting past the receptionist . I remained polite and calm , and asked to speak to someone else, but was placed on hold . Then she returned to the phone even though i had distinctly requested to talk to someone else. politeness and respect is meant to be a 2 way street. Was there really no one else i could talk to? Very frustrating.

Have seen 4 nurses in the past month and got 2 sets of antibiotics. Each nurse has been outstanding. Very caring, thorough, and I got a same day appointment each time. 5 stars from me!

I am in so much pain, got appointment with a prescribing nurse.... fine. I went there with a full diagnosis, the only thing I wanted it was a prescription, which the lovely nurse sent to my pharmacy. She said it takes 2 hours. Fine.... Mind me, I didn't sleep for 4 days now.... I took the maximum dose of ibuprofen and paracetamol combo, I have tonsillitis. So at the pharmacy I was told there's no prescription. I called the surgery and I was told that ALL the GPs who can SIGN are in a meeting and God forbid to disturb them.... I'm ONLY a patient..... I am the reason they are actually getting paid.... but they cannot be disturbed and to top it all the lovely lady at the reception hung up on me when I expressed how upset I was having this awful pain while I was told that the meeting started AFTER my prescription was created.... if I was IMPORTANT then they could have sign it before the meeting. Silly me! I thought doctors made the oath to save lives and help ill people, but of course a MEETING is more important than an ill person.
There should be a policy that the surgery is NEVER left without GP covet in these kind of situations. It is ridiculous!!!! But your receptionist hanging up on a patient.... seriously!!! You guys all need some customer care training, if you would be in the REAL WORLD, you couldn't afford to treat a CLIENT like this.
CLAP-CLAP-CLAP NHS..... oh, actually NO!!!
Have as wonderful, stressful and painfree afternoon as I have because of your delay!!!

Super care from lovely staff. My wife survived sepsis because of rapid action by Dr. Rowe. The surgery has continued to offer a super service despite all the recent NHS problems. Many thanks from both of us.

Very good staff from the front line service reception to the medical review person and the nurses to the doctor's all pleasant. Good online appointment booking and repeat perscription services. If you have a problem ordering on line speak to the surgery they may be able to help.

I am very happy with this surgery and was a bit shocked by some of the remarks on here to be honest, how is it that 2 patients can have total opposite experiences with this surgery? The receptionist goes out of her way to be pleasant and helpful and Dr Rowe is one of the most caring and empathatic doctors I have seen in a very long time. These doctors and surgery work really hard under such difficult circumstances, it's not their fault that the pandemic along side with the daily battle of trying to get the practice back to normal in the most difficult circumstances. A little bit of kindness and understanding is needed here I think, they really are doing the best they can. Thank you Greensands Surgery for the care and kindness you show to your patients under the most difficult and challenging times.

RE:
You guys can contact me, I’m not making the effort anymore. If you guys are so concerned, you have my number, you can call me.

Joke of a surgery. Possibly the worst GP I’ve had to deal with. My partner has been with them many years and after seeing the exceptional service she got, I decided to switch and I regret it.

GPs who do not understand your issues and how it should be addressed. They just refer you elsewhere and even then the people you get referred to think your GP didn’t attend to the issue correctly.

Wait months on end for appointments to only have them cancel due to a GP sick, the Queen dying. Any excuse they can find they’ll happily take it if it means to cancel and make you wait for 4 weeks.

What made me snap is after waiting three weeks for my asthma review appointment (via phone) that the nurse let the phone ring once and then hung up. No chance to answer the phone. Whilst talking to the receptionist, nurse was calling me but I was told to stay on the line which meant I missed the third call. Ultimately the receptionist called back after checking and said as I missed the third call (by her demand) I’d have to rebook. Not being allowed to get my inhaler despite a bad episode of wheeziness caused by a cold, I’d hate to be someone in which it would be a matter of life or death to need that inhaler as they’re refusing to give me essential medication until this damn review is done.

My only advise to the two GPs I saw that seemed to know how to do their job, please look elsewhere. This is an awful surgery and you deserve better.

I wish I hadn’t changed surgeries now.
