I have just called this place, my GP, because I am at a risk of contracting RABIES and needed advice on how I can get treatment abroad in Germany. The people at the GP did not know what rabies was and cut off the phone call abruptly without offering any help or advice and repeatedly told me I am abroad so I am not their concern. I needed their help to advise how I can retrieve the necessary information required to receive assistance from a hospital in Germany - something requested by the hospital in order to be able to administer any treatment to a person who is a resident of a country abroad.

Regardless of what my situation is, a GP not knowing anything about rabies is worrying. When reminded it is a life and death situation they told me to not be rude and refused to allow me to speak to a doctor.

After this refused to take a phone call.

Absolutely dangerous behaviour from two girls that should never be allowed to work in any position.

Edit, response to the reply: I’d rather not be identified by you in case you try and mess with me. I asked multiple times to be forwarded to a doctor or ANYONE to speak to when I called you but you refused. Now you want me to call you and speak to management to save face If I had contracted rabies I would not even had the chance to make this comment you despicable, incompetent delinquents.

It always asks people to call 8 am in the morning to book appointments and they put the phone line on auto busy mood. I went to the practice exactly 8 am in the morning and booked an appointment where the kept pushing my appointment to 9 and then 10 and then 11 am . It’s not a joke to spend 4 hours from the morning for 15 minutes appointment. The whole time I was there and there were not a single call arrived and I tried from the morning and other people too. The line was on auto busy mood. Just say we don’t take appointments through phone call rather than this misleading information.

Very poor service of front desk. It needs proper monitoring. They don’t well behave with patients.

The website to book appointments has not been working for weeks, and nobody answers the phone. How come patients haven't received an email or any communication informing them of this? Let me remind you that you are a GP practice, not a business. Don’t play with people's health like that.

Brilliant experience with this practice this week. After struggling to get through to book an appointment (to be expected), I was seen within 2 hours, blood test later in the day and results back within 4 days. Not enough credit is given to the surgery and all of those who work tirelessly to do the best they can in difficult circumstances. Very grateful to GFMP and thank you!

Subject: Concerns Regarding Customer Service and Appointment Availability

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I have experienced. There seems to be a consistent lack of available appointments through the Dr IQ system, and attempting to schedule an appointment over the phone has proven to be equally frustrating. By 9 AM, all appointments are typically booked, and it is not possible to schedule for a future date. The current system feels outdated and unresponsive to patients' needs.

Additionally, rather than receiving assistance, I have been directed to visit Accident and Emergency or call 111. I also noted a lack of availability for female doctors, which is concerning. I hope that these issues can be addressed to improve the overall patient experience.

One of the most amazing GPs. I have just had a review for my health and had a blood test. Both the clinician who reviewed and the amazing person who took my blood test are truly incredible. I truly appreciate the patience and gentleness when taking my blood test alongside the constant reassurance alongside just going above and beyond to call me in for a review and consult me. Reception team also goes above and beyond. Super grateful.

Doctor is really nice, nurses too, the receptionist is terrible. Once they gave me an expired test tube, then I wanted to confirm how to use it, she said, can’t you google it? I insisted on getting help, she google it in front of me and told me something completely wrong. I don’t know how difficult to hire a receptionist who doesn’t treat patients so poorly

Dealing with the so called "trained team" in this practice is below acceptable level. After number of calls and attendance, hearing different excuses from each person and promises that your case will be dealt with, you are once again to walk out the centre with empty hands. They simply can not deliver the service they offer.
Advanced appointments are not available which is very inconvenient for working people and school children.
Modern centre with awfull service.
