Mr Kempshall was very kind and professional. I had an operation for a partial knee replacement and was looked after extremely well in The Nuffield Hospital. My new knee is fantastic! I am so thrilled to be pain free at last. 8 weeks after the operation I am back to walking, pool swimming and cold water swimming - all without any pain.

Mr Kempshall was attentive to my situation, recommended the best approach to my concerns and when we established that I had been missing my acl for 37 years, knee held in place by strong muscles, suggested we only operated to remove part of the resplintered cartilage and leave the rest of knee and muscles as is. Cartilage work done to stop concern that knee could lock if twisted. After 6 weeks, full recovery and back to doing sports and hobbies that I could do before

Dr. Peter Kempshall is a true expert in his field. After my ACL tear during a self-defense grading, his surgical skills and compassionate care guided me to nearly full recovery in just six months. I'm incredibly grateful for his expertise and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone in need of orthopedic care.

I did my research before choosing Mr Peter Kempshall for my knee surgery. What you see is what you get, he is professional friendly and gives you confidence in his abilities. I had a full knee replacement in January 2023, there were no complications and my wound healed really quickly. It was hard work to get back to full fitness, just needed to do the physio religiously everyday. You get out what you put in!
I can kneel on my knee and have almost full flexion. I had the other knee replacement in January 2024 and am now 9 weeks post surgery. I can already kneel on this one and have a great bend requiring little pain relief. It is early days but I am extremely happy with progress.
I can’t speak highly enough of Mr Peter Kempshall and highly recommend him.

Mr Robert Gleeson carefully explained the alternative procedures and the pros and cons of each procedure. Following our discussions I opted for a partial knee replacement, which Mr Gleeson performed in February 2023. It is now just over one year since my operation and I am very happy with the outcome. Mr Gleeson is an excellent surgeon and I would have no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone with a knee problem. I was also very impressed with the Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital. All the staff I encountered, without exception, were very friendly and extremely professional.

I underwent partial knee replacement in Jan 2023 under the care of Robert Gleeson. Fantastic outcome, surgery went very well and after the recovery period I can now enjoy an active lifestyle without pain. The procedure was well explained and I always felt confident that I was in good, professional hands. I can highly recommend Robert Gleeson and his team at the Nuffield Cheltenham.

It’s 12 months since my partial knee replacement. The operation and aftercare from Mr Gleeson and his team has been outstanding and it has been great to be fully mobile once more. Unfortunately my other knee is now playing up, and I have no hesitation on returning to the Gloucester Knee Clinic for a diagnosis and further care.
