The receptionists are the rudest people I’ve ever met. And complaints/management seem to be fine with this as any complaints are just ignored and nothing changes, the reception staff will still speak to you like absolute dirt. They also love to slam the phone down whenever they want, even if you’ve been in the queue to talk to them for a while. The doctors are dismissive and it takes months of continuously trying to get appointments for them to actually do something to help instead of blaming it on arbitrary things to get you out the door as fast as they can. I’ve moved around a lot and therefore have attended many different GPs and this has to be the worst I’ve ever been to. Don’t register here if you actually care about your health, and value being treated like a human being.

Receptionist this morning spoke to my mum (and the man in front) like a complete idiot, so unhelpful and patronising, and just completely rude. has made my mum feel so small. It was like she didn’t want to help. Disgusting, don’t work for the NHS if you don’t like helping people.

Would not let me register without photo ID, had given all other details including nhs number, old doctors, present address, receptionist said its their rule for registering new clients, it protects our clients, more like it protects their staff and stops people getting needed appointments, the nhs website says photo ID is not needed and you don't have to give it, so looks like his surgery cherry picks its clients. This has totally shut me down as need help and they're using silly rules that aren't needed to turn people away.

Seriously ill today and couldn't move from bed, I was dealt with more or less instantly and then an emergency home visit from a lovely Doctor who issued me with what I needed so no need for hospital like previous times.
All staff wonderful ❤️ and medicine kicking in.

Been with this surgery most my life and Dr orr and all the team are great very caring and really take time to see your ok that you remembered everything etc before you leave don't make you feel rushed. I will miss them all as I'm leaving york so will be getting a new doctors once moved.

I had the need to see a doctor today in the past this has not always been a happy experience.
Not so today I was treated professionally and without fuss also my blood tests were taken by him straight away no delay they've come back as normal and my mind is at peace.well done dr j tait and thankyou
