Contacted the surgery to request a letter supporting absence from work due to having Radiotherapy. This was on the advice of the radiotherapy Team and Park Breast Clinic and was told that they can only provide it 2 days beforehand. My workplace requires more notice, as I imagine most do. I was advised by the radiologist to take 2 weeks off. I was told that people respond differently to radiotherapy, which I completely agree with, but there are also the mental health impact of having gone through cancer and having to experience the radiotherapy, which does not seem to be taken into account. Surely, some treatments should be considered an exemption from the 2 day rule?

Their administration up on School Hill is absolutely horrible. They will make you ill before they will help you. Their tactics include providing dishonest information and offering you incessant delay. They are extremely polite, however, which is how they attempt to get away with their blatant disregard for doing their jobs and telling the truth.

If this is my river lodge appointment after Christmas, the blood test went well but there was an unfortunate incident. St Andrews, where I normally renew prescriptions was closed for a fortnight. The receptionist at Tiver Lodhe kindly offered to renew for me. She took details and said she’d put it through. Went I went to the chemist some days later, it turned out that she hadn’t. I phoned River Loshe. They apologised. But I did need my medicines. As I was monitoring blood pressure for a doctor at the time.

Please! All I want is to see the GP who told me to see him if things got any worse. I am really not feeling well and my immune system cannot cope with this chest infection. Breathing is difficult, I have lost three stone in weight and I need to see a doctor urgently before this gets worse - not be told 'anima' doesn't work that way. I am not someone to moan and cause problems but you are not giving me the treatment I need and it is badly affecting my health!

Called 111 early a.m who advised I should be seen within 2 hours.. Although I wasn't called until later that evening my issue was dealt with efficiently and with kindness..
