It's a shame to leave a bad review but it has to be done, more than anything the whole service is short. Having only spoken to a doctor via anima, text or phone over a number of months. It worries me how many patients issues are neglected, as it's so hard to get an appointment with a GP. Needing an appointment for a prescription, I was given an appointment 11 days later. Luckily my chemist was helpful, and supplied me medication. This hadn't worked so I tried anima again and 3 days later saw the doctor. He was late letting me in so what should have been a 15 minute appointment, ended up being 7 minutes. The infection that I have struggled to get rid of doesn't seem to have gone, and I understand I have to wait to be re tested. But I've been told do an anima and the longest I'd wait is 11 days for an appointment. The lack of care to me seems scary, health and safety of patients should be paramount. But I feel this is not possible at this service level. Now I'd like to add this is I'd like to think not the fault of the surgeries. But something needs to change

Absolutely awful!! to be accused my a GP that I was threatening him... I asked what he advised! He also began to become incredibly hostile and started to raise his voice for no reason. Just shows that this country seriously needs more native doctors who can understand and speak proper English! Had high hopes for this surgery to.

Just want to say thank you for today, i had mixed my surgeries in morning and went for lakeside instead, runned bit late to forest gate. They have lovely receptionist and she said she will ask doctor if he still can see me. Doctor took me to see. I had very good experience with dr Bowie, he explained and told me what can be the problem i have, and he send me to further test what i really needed and it was done. It's pleasure to talk and see so professional doctor, who knows what he is talking about and actually listens to you. Thank you. Very happy

Our experience in Forest Gate Surgery in Corby was fine. I had phoned up to make a double appointment and when we arrived, it was nice that we had a British Sign Language interpreter but even though the appointment was for 1:30pm, we weren't seen until 1:55pm. We went inside and my partner started to go through the problems he was having but the doctor said it might not be enough time, the appointments are in ten minute slots and apparently there were no double appointments booked. He was kind enough to spend the time needed to go through all the health concerns before we were sent on our way. I did feel that the doctor wasn't really listening and was more of trying to get us out as quickly as possible which is frustrating because we have to phone up at eight in the morning and then if you don't then you'll get rejected an appointment even if it's a week or two in advanced due to the need to have a British Sign Language interpreter.

4 week to see a doctor 10 min
1 year to see a dietician
1 year for a knee surgery!! Is this really happening in what was suppose to be a first world country!

I had a fantastic experience today, I’ve been so reluctant to call and make an appointment because of so many people saying it’s hard to get an appointment. I called lakeside this morning at 8am! Was put through with in 5 minutes and given an appointment for 11.30am on the same day. I arrived 20 minutes early, was greeted by a lovely lady at reception who directed me to where I needed to go.I took my coat off and didn’t even get to sit down before being called in by the doctor. Who was so lovely. Referral was made for me to have an X-ray so now I just have to wait for that. Huge thank you to everyone who helped to make my experience a positive one.

When I called on Friday for an appointment, I've been told to call either Monday or Tuesday to book an appointment. I phoned 7:59 - phone was engaged, phoned 20 seconds later (8:00), phone BUSY! Phoning, phoning for more than 80 times and 20 minutes later - busy...!!! They put the phone on busy so they don't have to pick it up!! But if you need an appointment the same day, they say to phone 8:00 am sharp, which I did and still nothing! What a disgrace!!! GOING IN and you'll see!!
