On every occasion, the care we’ve received has been exceptional — without question, the best we’ve encountered in any part of the UK we’ve previously lived. The attention to detail, the quality of care, and the thoroughness of follow-up have all been outstanding.
From the doctors and nurses to the wider support team, every interaction has been marked by professionalism, kindness, and efficiency. We genuinely could not ask for more.

Appalling service. Condescending staff and consistently unreliable when booking through Anima. There’s a clear lack of understanding or care around the nature of concerns raised. I called regarding my 8-year-old son, and the receptionist asked if I had tried Googling the issue — an unprofessional and dismissive response. Deeply disappointing and unacceptable.

I had side effects from a medication and messaged my GP asking if it was possible for an alternative. I received a very prompt text message reply agreeing and a new treatment was helpfully sent to the pharmacy. So straightforward, quick and kindly done, and no need for telephone calls or appointments. Thank you so much.

I have been a patient at Fordingbridge Surgery for 17 years and in that time I have received excellent treatment, treated quickly even though the practice is an extremely busy one. Receptionists, nurses, pharmacy have always been patient, smiling, and efficient. Not forgetting the excellent doctors ! My particular personal Doctor has probably been the best I have encountered at various surgeries throughout my life.

I count myself extremely fortunate to have such an efficient, friendly, and remarkable surgery.

I’ve been registered with the surgery for over 20 years and my experience of it has always been excellent - be that reception, the dispensary, the nurses or the doctors. When Anima was introduced I had doubts prior to using it - a concern about technology taking away personal contact I suppose. In fact, it’s actually improved my experience because I get a same day (usually within 2-3 hours) response which has always been constructive and helpful and has included arranging a phone call from or appointment with a doctor as necessary (again quickly - the same or following day). I feel very fortunate that this is my local practice. Thank you.

Not the fastest way to get care

The surgery have wanted absolutely nothing to do with my wife’s post-surgery care, despite the fact that she’s been diagnosed by the specialists at the hospital with lifelong conditions.

The hospital has sent them letters detailing what is needed from them and they’ve done none of it. They won’t even do the blood tests or issue the prescription that she’s been given to manage her conditions.

To top it off, the GP even disagreed with the diagnosis given by the specialist consultant!
