Great experience in the infrared sauna at Floatwell yesterday. James made us feel welcome and gave plenty of information about the benefits and what to expect. We came out feeling calm and relaxed. The place was very clean. We will definitely be back!

I had a really great first experience at Floatwell today! I tried the infrared sauna and the AI massage chair, and both were amazing and surprisingly affordable, especially for Cambridge standards. As an F45 Cambridge Station member, I love how conveniently located it is—just a three-minute walk from the studio! I’ll definitely be back whenever I need to recover after my intense workout sessions. Highly recommend! 🙂

Wonderful! Clean, spacious, friendly and all round very enjoyable experience at Floatwell. It was my first time floating there and I've become a member. I don't live in Cambridge, so having the train station mere minutes away has made it very accessible to me. I'm already looking forward to my next one!

An absolutely unique relaxing experience.
After being greeted at the door by a relaxed-looking owner in bare feet, I was offered a drink and shown through to the floatation pod. It's in a small private room with just the pod and a shower. I was talked through what was going to happen, and how to use the inside light and alarm, and the clean water spray bottle in case I got any salty water in my eyes.
After getting in the pod and closing the cover, it played gentle seaside sounds for around 10 minutes. I turned the lights off, and was in complete darkness, and feeling weightless floating in the warm water. It took me a little while to stop my gentle movements taking me to the sides, so I floated in the middle. I soon felt the heavy arms and legs you get when very tired, but I was fully awake. It was incredibly relaxing, just hearing my breathing in the dark, and not really knowing where my arms and legs were.
Near the end of the hour-long session, the seaside sounds played again - I may have fallen asleep, I'm not sure!
At this point, I sat up to open the top, and unfortunately water trickled down into my eyes! I really stings. Next time, I'll be sure to brush the water away as I sit up. I have felt very calm for days afterwards, and slept very well that night.
An amazing experience - I'll definitely try it again.

We just had a couples infrared sauna. Fantastic service, friendly and accommodating. Drink on arrival in a relaxed, clean, open and welcoming area.
Super easy and stress free process from start to finish. Parking in the centre of Cambridge at the location.
We highly recommend, we feel great after it and it was so great to have a shower and without having to remember to take all you need as it’s already provided. Thank you 🙏🏼

Tldr; great for yoga but needs a cleaning station for mats. Floatation is a great experience but they can do much, much better at cleaning the rooms and general hygiene, which is why I give 3 stars.

Great place. Yoga classes are amazing, there’s good time for meditation at the start and end of each practice. I’d recommend having a “cleaning station” or something inside the yoga studio. In two occasions we couldn’t find spray and paper towels to clean up the mats.

Flotation is such a great experience too. Everything looks modern. However, the flotation rooms smell a bit funky. You would think it’s the salts but upon researching, this isn’t the case. If a flotation room/tank smells, it’s simply bacteria accumulation and lack of proper cleaning. When I entered the flotation room for the first time, not only was it smelly, but the floor was wet too, and there were clear indications that someone had just been in there and no one cleaned. The ear plugs I was offered were wet. I didn’t use them because someone else already had. The tank’s lid was wet too. I entered the pod and about 5 minutes in, the cleaning system turned on which indicates they let me in without properly cleaning the tank first.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Floatwell. The massage chair relieved all of my aches and pains, plus totally loosened all of my tight muscles, which is great as someone who does a lot of strength training.

Then the floatation pod was just total relaxation for both body and mind. I felt totally zen after my spa morning there and I really loved the attention to detail such as the complimentary drink upon arrival and beauty products in the shower & after care room.

Highly recommend & I will be back!

I have competed two Infrared saunas and a hydrofacial with Margaret. The attention that is given from the moment you walk in until you leave is outstanding. Amazing treatments in a very welcoming environment. The owners are super nice and friendly and so is Margaret. Highly recommend Floatwell.
