This is a stunningly relaxing place to stay. The en-suite rooms are very impressive and comfortable. Lovely hot shower with great water pressure. The evening meal was also delicious, served on time and with attention to detail. Breakfast was equally excellent in the conservatory overlooking the gardens. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Beautiful walks around the grounds and also Felbrigg Hall. A few miles from the North Norfolk coast. Highly recommended.

An absolute Gem. One of the most outstanding locations we have ever found. Peace and tranquility in abundance. Made all the better by the quality of the food; probably the best meals we have had in any hotel or guest house, ever. The staff could not have been more welcoming or friendly. The on-site hot tubs and swimming pool made the experience all the more relaxing as did the opportunity for Spa treatments. The owner, Philip, told us that a large majority of his customers were returners. Not surprised to hear that. We will be too in the future.

What a lovely place to stay. Where to start? Lovely area, friendly welcome and delicious scones and tea in our room, our suite is comfortable and spacious and a pleasure to spend time in, with SUCH a comfy bed and huge sofa too. Lovely view out of the French windows to the garden. The breakfast is incredible and we were sad not to have an evening meal but had prior arrangements with local friends. Next time! The pool is great to be able to use each day, very clean. Dog friendly and definitely gluten free friendly. With such a lovely area we hope to return later in the year.

This is our sixth visit to Felbrigg Lodge. We go back for the peace and quiet, the amazing food and the tranquil gardens. Everyone always makes us very welcome and we love to stay to further explore the wonderful Norfolk coast and countryside. This morning when I drew back the curtains at Felbrigg there was a baby deer and its mother a few yards from the bedroom window - very special! The birdsong was delightful too.

Peaceful. Non corporate. Haven of trees, nature, forest walks. Lovely warm pool. Wonderful accommodation - like log cabin luxe - or house rooms with views. Wonderful staff (family run). Mature and restful ambience. Well equipped to BYO or book a table or can order food for your cabin/ room. Loved the leaves floating down to the hot tub while listening to the trees and the owls. Rare space catering for mature, quieter people. Very much appreciated Philip and Dee Dee, looking forward to returning soon.

Stayed here for 3 nights . Room is situated behind the office . It was dirty, lots of cobwebs and smelt damp. I had to move a chair and there were leaves and dirt underneath. We had a half opened bottle of water and when my husband took it to the owner he seemed surprised we wanted a fresh unopened one. |The shower was dangerous and bits fell off it. It was up a step and slippy. The floor was dirty. I had to wipe it because it was so wet and the cloth was filthy. |The fridge was dirty . The coffee tray never refreshed . There were constant cars up and down. The bathroom has a privacy film on the windows but there are gaps up the sides so people can see in. |The curtains are hanging down and stained . |The hot tub we used once . It isn’t private as people walk past all the time and it wasn’t clean. There was dirt in the bottom of it.|We used the pool once and were told to shower before we went in. The shower was dirty and old. The pool had a film on the surface and again was dirty . |Breakfast was ok. But your food is put out before you arrive . Not sure how long it was there. There are some cabins obviously now privately owned and it seemed very much them and us. The track down to the hotel is full of potholes and has to be taken carefully. |We visited some years ago and stayed in Bramble suite which at the time was lovely but now the whole place just seems run down. |It’s expensive for what it is and for someone who has auto immune and allergies I came home with a bad chest and can only think it was the dirty water in the hot tub or pool . The sauna didn’t work either.|The tv was an old box and had to be coaxed into working .

I've just gotten back from an amazing one night stay here, staying in the Bracken suite! All I can say is BOOK NOW! What a hidden gem! My room was absolutely beautifully appointed with an antique 4 poster bed that was SO comfortable I slept through my morning alarm! The bathroom was brilliant too with a bath so big I could probably do laps in it 🤣 The private hot tub outside was an added bonus too, it was immaculately clean and very relaxing to sit in and just soak up the tranquility of the area. For lodges that don't have a private hot tub, there is a very large one in the pool area that each lodge gets an allocated private time slot or everyone can use it between 4 and 6pm! I didn't use these facilities but I did see them whilst waiting for my massage (I highly recommend booking Sarah for a treatment in the on site beauty room, absolutely amazing massage!) and it looked lovely! The staff here were so kind and helpful too and bend over backwards for you! After my massage I was so relaxed that I wanted to eat in my room rather than in the dining room and they arranged room service for me even though (I don't think, anyway) this is a service they typically offer! Speaking of the food, again like everything in general here, it was stunning!! I had the chicken breast wrapped in bacon with a creamy chorizo and bell pepper sauce with seasonal veg for my main and a tropical fruit and coconut pavola for dessert and it was the kind of quality you'd expect to get from a top tier restaurant! Everything was freshly cooked using local quality produce. The breakfast was absolutely brilliant too with plenty of options! There is only one small critique I have and that is to maybe get some better updated pictures to advertise your stunning venue and grounds! The pictures you have online do this place no justice at all, it is 1000 times better in person! Thank you so much for having me, I will absolutely be back soon! (I'll bring my dog next time so he can play with the resident pooch 😂)

The setting is stunning, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the place feels quite tired and in need of some attention. It’s overpriced for what it is, and cleanliness could be improved—everything looked like it needed a good deep clean. To top it off, there was no hot water on the day we left, which was disappointing. With some updates and better maintenance, this could be a fantastic place, but as it stands, it doesn’t quite justify the cost.
