Featherbed Care

Featherbed provided live-in care for my mother for about 15 months before she needed to go into a nursing home. The one problem we had was addressed quickly and effectively, and with that one exception, the carers Featherbed provided were superb - very caring and helpful, totally honest and understanding. They all developed a really good bond with my mother, who also valued their care.

Featherbed have been absolutely amazing. They provided 24 hour care for my mom who is in her 90's for over a year in her own home. The care and efficiency was second to none. They were always there with advice and always there to listen. I think you'd be hard pushed to find an Agency as remarkable as Featherbed. Thanks to all the staff at Featherbed and Carers who 'Cared' for my mom. ?

Featherbed provided waking nights care for my 99 year old father during the last few weeks of his life, which were very challenging. His carer, Julia, was fantastic and I can honestly say that we couldn't have coped without her. This wonderful care allowed my father to be able to stay in his own home which had always been his wish. Thank you so much Julia and Featherbed.

Featherbed Homecare allowed my 90yr old parents to live together in their home for over 2yrs. Splitting them up after 60yrs of happy marriage would have been unthinkable. Despite initial reservations my parents quickly accepted live in care and much enjoyed having company in the house. Much credit is due to the carers who were all lovely and very caring . My sisters and I are very grateful to Featherbed for enabling our parents to spend the last five years of their lives in their own home, where they lived for over sixty years. It would have been traumatic for Mum and Dad to leave that familiar setting, at the time when they were at their most vulnerable.. Mum and Dad had five long-term carers in succession, because carers left for their own family reasons, but we always had the peace of mind that another well-chosen and thoroughly vetted carer would appear. Each carer was kind, well-trained, professional and honest. Featherbed made great efforts to place carers with suitable personalities to relate well to Mum and Dad, which is an important aspect of their agency. Featherbed kept in touch with us to gain feedback on the quality of the carers' work and to ensure that they were a good match for their clients. And it follows that we cannot thank the carers themselves enough for all they did for Mum and Dad.

We were recommended to Featherbed Homecare by a friend and the service we received was second to none. Claire and Sally provided us with the perfect live-in carer for our mum during the last few months of her life and everything about the service was spot on. I would recommend Featherbed to anyone who wants live in care. The carers we had for my late dad were very special very caring, kind and honest, they gave my dad the best care in his last year of life so he was very happy to be able to stay in his own home. I cannot thank Featherbed enough.
