My review echo's someone else's here, my mother was referred to Farnham hospital for rehab and physio after breaking her hip, she was in there less than a week and barely had an ounce of physio, and was left sitting in a room by herself most of the time, then the day before writing this review, the staff come and tell her she's going home today!
Bearing in mind no rehab had taken place, and what really annoyed us the family, was a member of staff proceeded to pack my mum's bags first thing in front of her, didn't even ask, just went ahead and done it, and asked her when's the husband coming to get you!

Absolutely no warning, and because they obviously wanted the bed, they were gonna stick her in a waiting room until she was collected, but before she even made it out of the side room, the staff wheeled in another prospective patient into mothers room before she had a chance to even leave it! 😡

As if my mums experience at frimley park wasn't enough stress before being transferred to here, things just went from bad to worse. On the Bentley ward, there were some absolutely dreadful uncaring, unempathetic staff, who failed to deliver the rehab care she was meant to be there for. Now she's at home with a husband who is elderly himself, and who will totally struggle to help mum do things necessary to help her physical health and wellbeing, it's absolutely despicable! The hospital said they will have physiotherapists come to her home instead,.for which there is a long waiting list, which is an absolute joke! They are now having to resort to a private physiotherapist as a result because her physical state will just continue to decline in no time.

Our NHS is a total sham and the governments etc couldn't give a c***! They want you out of the way and that's that at any cost!! Very concerning times that I doubt will improve anytime soon!

My nan was put here after spending time at frimley park hospital, was supposed to be having physio to help her better on her feet, now she can't walk at all, bed bound and incompetent. Hardly any help from staff and left in bed 90% with no help whatsoever. The place is like an asylum! Wouldn't recommend anyone coming to the hale farnham ward!

A little care would be the least you would expect from the radiographer on duty 27/2/24. Common sense would be an 85 yr old with mobility issues will need a small amount of assistance getting onto a couch. Instead a flat refusal of help and just extremely rude manner. If you do not like your job find something else to do. There are plenty of lovely well mannered kind people working within the NHS, this man was not one of them

My mother was in Farnham for rehab following admittance to Frimley Park after a fall at home. She was extremely unhappy whilst there. She was left alone in her room for 90% of the time - communication was very poor at all times. Physio did not happen as often as it should have done, so her condition and wellbeing worsened rather than improved. Most staff, especially the nurses, were sitting behind screens most of the time when I visited and were not engaged with their patients. Some HCAs were very hardworking but were badly managed. Staff took over the common room/dining room with their computers and did not encourage the patients to use it at all. Communication between staff and NoK was extremely poor; we were not told that mum had a urine infection, we were not told that she was ready for discharge for nearly a week. We had to keep asking questions and were made to feel that we were interfering when we did. Mum ended up being there for over 4 weeks. Some staff were apologetic and gave attention when it was needed but I am sad to say that one particular senior member of staff had a very poor attitude and didn't speak with courtesy to patients or their visitors. I was appalled with her lackadaisical attitude. There was a very laid back attitude generally and I believe a lot of precious NHS resources are wasted. Overall the Bourne Ward is poorly led and managed in my opinion. It's a brilliant facility that could be a shining star. We were very disappointed overall.

Farnham Community Hospital i have had to go there once back last year, to see a consultant.
I found the building was very clean and tidy, inside and outside of the Grounds. Plenty of parking for the patients visiting.
