I have been attending Emma’s Pilates classes for about 18 months now and find them massively beneficial. I am a runner and find that the classes are definitely playing a role in keeping me free from pain and injuries. I love the flexibility of the classes with my membership, allowing me to choose between attending in person, via video call or catching up in my own time during the week. The classes are friendly and informal and I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to take up Pilates.

First contacted Emma for knee pain, then again for hip problems. Both times Emma explained what the treatment would be and how I should continue with exercises that Emma provided by email.
The Pilates class on Friday morning have given me some good advice and also increased my flexibility and strength.

I have been attending Emma's Pilates class for quite a few years. . She always explains the exercises well and gives you several options which allows everyone in the class to join in.
The sessions are friendly and I always feel good as I leave the class. If I can't get to the class I know I can join online which is helpful.

The hour of Pilates with Emma is so relaxing on a Monday evening! It is great to have a stretch and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived.
The Pilates space temperature is always set at a good level and comfortable.
Emma is unfailing polite, helpful and very encouraging. And the class is always fun but also we work hard.

After suffering a “pop” in my hamstring during running and persistent pains in my knee I was unable to run and thought my running days were finished. Despite resting for a couple of months it was clear it was not was getting better. In a last ditch effort I decided to have a look for a local sport injury therapist but had no idea who or what I was really looking for. Having had a google for the local area Emma came up and after a quick chat on email I had a session with Emma to assess. This was the best decision I ever made as after one session with Emma I followed a plan which returned the strength in my leg and slowly got me back running 12k a few times a week. Emma always ensures the exercises are for everyone’s level, giving multiple choices from easy to difficult. An enjoyable class with friendly people. You can also do the session at home if you want to repeat it or can’t make it to the class. Would highly recommend.
