I was very sceptical about the new set up at the surgery. I’ve only just recently started using it. I’ve had responses by two different drs in the same day. I’ve had no issues with appointments. Albeit some of the routine ones are far away.
But I’d just like to highlight that Dr White was so kind and caring. Made my little boy feel very special, she took her time with us. She’s been incredibly helpful. She reminded me of when I was little and the Drs would come to your house, and you felt heard and never rushed.

The surgery is well set up and runs very well over the two practices. Nothing is perfect but in 2024 with an ever growing population they certainly try hard and I think they are doing an excellent job. We all find the time to moan so I thought I’d write something positive.

Thank you Drs and the Chemist for all your hard work.

Opening hours completely crazy. Two hours break for lunch every day. Then on a Tuesday afternoon when they are supposed to be open, hours on the door say they're open - they're closed. Managed to catch the eye of a shady figure inside who came to see why I was standing outside their door (at 2pm when the sign on the door says they'll open) only to be told they're closed for 'staff training', and I'd need to come back the next day. No apology, nothing. So glad I left work to come and collect a prescription, lucky it's not life threatening, or maybe it is, they don't care....

My husband rang today to speak to someone as over weekend has been very dizzy and has very low blood pressure and bearing in mind he's had by pass in the past feeling very concerned and about to go away Friday on holiday he's had appointment arrange for 27th Sept unbelievable service he's not seen a doctor for over18 months no check up aside a blood test I can't believe how unhelpful they have been infact if anything happens to my husband while we away I hold the surgery completely reasonable all he needed was probably changes of blood pressure tables and this triage system is not working who works out what is important and what isn't also the elder patient are not up to date with Internet and was told can't make appointment over the phone well I live in a village and have a huge problem with Internet connection letshope ica make a appointment if needed this surgery was fanatic when Dr Bell was there sadly gone down hill such a shame

Met Dr. Normoyle today, who was very thorough. Put me at ease, so easy to chat to, didn't rush me. Lovely guy..hope he stays at the practice.

Bad manners, rudeness, insults, bad service, racism, the practice may have improved since the senior Dr left the practice through mental health problems, but it still left a legacy of lack of care for the patient. The management did what he wanted and followed orders. They are now in charge... avoid if you can. For example
An elderly woman fell and needed help about 50 metres from the surgery. No one from the surgery would come to help. She lay there for an hour. Staff at the counter genuinely resented being bothered.
I have known the surgery for many years and can give it solid 1/10
More recently, the practice missed two appointments and "lost " a prescription without any care or attempt to put it right. So I made a complaint and without any explanation or apology or going through the complaints process they delisted me. I was in desperate need for medical attention and could hardly walk. They have delayed my treatment for 5 months deliberately and without concern. Its illegal and it is discrimination. The matter is with the PHSO. An arrogant badly run, self serving little England village GP "Business" where the patient doesn't come first.

The worst surgery I have ever known staff at desk unhelpful. Receptionist
need to relocate to Dover Shores.
We would not have a problem
With people coming over from other Countries, as no-one can get past them.

Absolutely fantastic surgery. Always very supportive, caring and compassionate with all of the health issues I have been with. Doctors show that they care about you and make you feel comfortable and at ease. Thank you edelsborough surgery.
