An appointment with Janet Harvey, the surgery's Mental Health Practitioner who I was referred to by my GP from a different surgery, was an incredibly worthwhile and encouraging experience. My anxiety was high about this appointment but Janet immediately put me at ease and listened actively and compassionately to me from the start. In a remarkably short space of time she had provided me with plenty of useful advice, material to read and act upon at home and had made a follow up appointment which was not too far away. Janet made me hope that I would soon be able to feel more able to manage my own mental/emotional difficulties.

I am not a patient at this practice but I was referred to see the Mental Health Practitioner, Janet. Janet has been absolutely amazing, she is so warm, welcoming and puts you at ease. I cannot thank Janet enough for what she has done for me, the ways in which she has taught me to deal with my illness, the time and effort she puts into the sessions and the way in which you are not made to feel judged. Janet is well knowledgeable and I would highly recommend her, I honestly don't know where I would have been without her recently.

I have been a patient at this practice for roughly 5 years now. The difference in the care I’m given by this practice compared to the one I was at previously is astonishing. I am always able to get an appointment, I’m always greeted politely by all members of staff, both in person and on the phone, I get results from any tests back really quickly and on top of everything, they seem to genuinely care about my wellbeing. The support I have received has been greatly appreciated. Moving to the area and joining this practice has genuinely been life changing for me and my needs.

Developed a semi urgent issue , called at 5:30pm, spoke with Dr Gabler at 5:45 and medication in my hand from the village pharmacy by 5:55. Receptionist Gaynor was extremely helpful and Dr Gabler professional and caring throughout . You cannot ask for a better service than that

I’m currently under the ADHD service here, and they’ve been absolutely brilliant. It's a small team, but they’re incredibly efficient and don’t make you wait long for treatment. Even when issues arose due to an underlying medical condition, they communicated with my consultant as quickly as possible to come up with a plan, allowing me to start ADHD medication without delays.

Claire, the manager/admin, has been fantastic throughout the process. From the moment I was referred for an ADHD assessment, all the way through my diagnosis and the progress I’ve made, she’s kept me fully informed every step of the way.
