Having tried for 3 days to get a phone Appt. I called111 who sent through an urgent referral for a prescription to be provided by them. First they said they hadn't got it, then after insisting, they found it suddenly! 2hrs later I'm still waiting for something to happen...4 hrs later...Still waiting

Lived in Hatfield broad oak now for just over five years, B/S before, what a difference in the doctors surgery’s.
Only go rarely however saw Dr Danny last week and it’s like seeing your mate.
Great staff all round and feel incredibly lucky to have them.

Receptionists are very helpful and pleasant. I have never had any problems accessing services.
However, I had a very negative appointment with a senior GP. Not hearing me at all. I came away feeling very let down and had to see another GP a few days later.

Luckily I very rarely have to go to the Surgery. Calling by telephone you are mainly told why you should not attend. When collecting an annual prescription I queued in the freezing cold in March 22 on the day we had snow. Not a problem for me really but for other elderly patients with walking sticks I am guessing that it was. How can you ask your elderly patients to wait outside for 25 minutes in such conditions while stating on your website that you are there to take care of them! Strongly suggest a rethink of your policies.

The doctors themselves are lovely and helpful. The staff (and what seemed to be a manager?) and whoever answers the phone, are very rude and I think they have somehow forgotten they are talking to VULNERABLE members of the public. They are rude, bossy and make me feel incredibly uncomfortable when I have to go (or call) quiet often to get my medication , for mental illness but that doesn't seem to matter to them. Don't recommend

Yet again this surgery are failing to provide any kind of service. They repeatedly patronise you at reception, when after waiting in the telephone queue for 17 other patients, probably all fed up with being dismissed at the building door and sent home to call in.
Since it's not possible to get a satisfactory resolution with the receptionist, nor speak to a anyone face to face, what are patients supposed to do? Isn't it about time the drs reopens properly, like everything else?

Absolutely disgusted by the actions of the reception staff! After three weeks of constant attempts to get an appointment and calling yet again today, on hold for over an hour, cut off then placed In a queue yet again, my mother suffering severe breathing difficulties (chronic asthma) attempted to obtain an emergency appointment by leaving work early and going to the doctors surgery. Cleary struggling to breath she was advised by the receptionist that they had no appointments and no one would see her! My mother said she would wait to see a doctor and had been trying for weeks to get an appointment and needed to see a doctor as a matter of urgency. The receptionist rather abruptly told my mother to drive to Hatfield Broadoak surgery a further 15 minutes away and wait for an hour there !Once arriving at Broadoak the great reception staff could clearly see how unwell my mother was and an appointment with a doctor was arranged there and then!

i have been with this surgery for 30 years and have found them to be without exception caring and efficient. The reception staff are friendly, polite and very helpful, they remember me when i go in and make me feel welcome. The medical staff - nurses and doctors - are wonderful.
