Have to agree with most of the negative comments. Never call you back , never get the pecricptions out on time , or to the right pharmacy... unfortunately patients have to deal with this service, oh yes they close for lunch for some reason , lots of ppl in the back office doing f... all .

I moved to this practice just over a year ago and honestly am so impressed with how kind, approachable and professional the whole team are. Nursing staff are lovely, friendly. patient and efficient. The 3 GPs i have consulted have been excellent, listened to me, and explained everything well. I have to especially mention the reception team who are outstanding, all of them very helpful and pleasant. But i was prompted to post this due to the interaction i had today with Gillian. she could not have been more helpful and her genuine warmth and kindness really helped me on a bad day. Thank you!

This GP Practice is an exemplar for all GP Practices. Same day or next day appointments - fantastic service. Doctors, Nurses & Reception staff are polite, helpful and often exceed expectations.

I always find I can get an appointment pretty quickly and the doctors and nurses are very good. I have found doctors very good at explaining diagnosis and treatments.
The new building it is located in is much better than the old surgery although not as conveniently located for me.
I have found reception to be generally helpful and they were particularly efficient in providing me with a copy of my medical records when I required them.

absolutely pathetic didnt see a doctor for 10 days had really bad pneumonia dotctor hamilton who i blame for bouncing me to covid helpline who told me i didnt have covid to go back to gp who by that time was closed. thank god for out of hours doctor who prescribed the proper medication and finally i'n on the mend... thank god also i am moving to south lanarkshire where i hope to get a better doctor. why they are pulling wage without seeing patients is beyond me.... if i could have given a negative rating i would have !!!

My family and I have been with this practice for many years ,I honestly cannot fault them ,The Drs and nurses are kind , up to date , professional ,with excellent listening and diagnostic skills, the receptionists are always friendly and helpful .and I always got an appointment either that day or the next .It's a very well run practice

Terrible since the original doctors retired & these doctors don't seem to care or listen to patients complaints. Twice they have given inappropriate medication to my mum who trusts doctors to listen to the issue but has been given meds for something completely different.
The health board don't seem to understand the lack of doctors in this area means you are stuck with doctors you cannot trust.
The practice has now moved to Clarkston so the opposite side to most of Giffnock & the area it is meant to cover.
The Merryvale surgery which is bordering Giffnock do not take patients within this area at all. Ludicrous when you think it is a stones throw from most of Giffnock but it is postcode lottery as to who you are stuck with. The health board need to sort out this mess.
