Booked in with the nurse which was cancelled the week before. They were unable to offer another appointment until 3 weeks later. That appointment was cancelled the day before and another couldn't be offered for over 2 weeks. So I've given up with trying to rebook now.

Absolutely top notch. Been going there for years and never had complaints but some of the recent care I have had compels me to provide a glowing review.

The administrative and medical staff all work their socks off, and having seen some folks behaviour in the waiting room, thanklessly by some. Probably the same people who were banging saucepans in the pandemic but now act the maggot.

It's a busy but good local surgery, there have been times where I would have been lost without their care and advice. Proper legends all of them.

I attended surgery last Thursday. This was a telephone appointment which I secured by ringing at exactly 0830. I saw Dr Callingham who asked she be contacted if my condition worsened. It did so I tried to book again at 0830. This time it was number busy. On my 31 st call I got in a queue of 39 other callers! The chance of getting another appointment that day left me feeling so disconsolate you can’t imagine. I had to go to work today 8-3.40 and still haven’t got an appointment. I tried on line but there simply aren’t any appointments today or in the future. Very poor system.

Got through on the phone early on just after 8:30am which is very rare. It said I no longer have to wait in the queue and I’d get a phone call back. This has happened twice now. I did press the buttons you told me to press too. I got no phone call back, still not been able to see a dr. It’s a crazy system and I’m sure people lives will be lost!!

I'm sorry, but every time I've tried to book an appointment over the phone at 8:30am... I am greeted with a constant 'line busy' scenario!
Multiple times this has happened in the last 3 years... Only to be told all appointments are gone for that day!

I personally feel irritated by this, because the surgery has recently been teaming up with support for autism, and asking me for my experience... Well here it is... There is no routine, or structure to the booking system... And it's incredibly difficult to plan your day to the drs... Only to be stuck trying to speak to a human being for half an hour straight.

Used to be good, these days it's impossible to get appointments. When problem got worse with children involved, all reception was willing to say was "walk in center". Shockingly unhelpful. A sick child with a fever go to walk in center to wait three hours, then the appointment lasted two minutes and we left with antibiotics. By then I had to find a pharmacy that's still open. Useless service. The Surgery also sent text with marketing material last year which I don't remember giving consent for.

Very good practice with adequate doctors and nurses on duty, also plenty of street parking all around although they do have a small car park at the rear.

I went there when I was younger, but I wanted to leave a review of how outstanding they have been for my dad who is very ill. They have been consistently available, and the staff have been amazing and bent over backwards for him getting appointments and prescriptions sorted instantly for him. The staff have been friendly and helpful all the time and have helped my mum in caring for my dad, which has been awesome. The surgery is clean and well-maintained. Keep it up, you're doing an awesome job.
