Looking for a practice as I had toothache and needed a regular dentist moving forward. Was given the option of a quick appointment but my work commitments meant I had to wait a few days. Seen by J Meakin, brilliant dentist. Very professional but with it very chatty and lovely! We both agreed best to take tooth out, didn't feel the injections at all!...so I would highly recommend him if you are nervous about them. Tooth removal was also pain free, so overall very happy! The rest of the the staff was also friendly. A lovely practice where you just ain't made to feel 'just like a number'. Thank you to Mr Meakin and staff. See you in 6 months for a check up.

Had my first appointment today with Mr Meakin and had two teeth removed.
An old school gentleman who talked me through what was needed and the plan going forward.
No pain whatsoever at any stage, and look forward to several more visits.
The receptionist and dental assistant were brilliant and I was made to feel very welcome.
Couldn't praise them all highly enough.
If you need a dentist, that's your team.

Phone rang twice, and answered by a very nice lady with an obvious, professional approach. So far so good 👍. Well the end of this course of treatment, culminating in a fantastic, upper denture, 2 extractions, measuring and fitting. A total of 6 visits, no pain, didn't even know my teeth were out. I can't say enough about Dr Meaking, his staff and the practice in general. Thank you all, you are all FANTASTIC.

A broken tooth! Was seen the NEXT day and before l knew it - had an injection without even realising and my tooth was reparied - not removed!!!! Outstanding service from start to finish with no pain at all!!! Great value for money too - one very happy customer THANKYOU!!

Dr. Meakin has done lots of work on me and my family over the years. Never hurts and always good result. He is a calm person and the surgery is always spotless. Would recommend to anyone. Seems happy to deal with emergencies quickly.

Being totally 'dental phobic' I can say with all honesty that despite living in other countries I've always flown back to Dr Meakin as he's understanding and patient with dentalphobes like myself. I would almost say I'm now over most of my dental fear but still choose to travel considerable distance to his clinic.

Takes forever to Answer the Phone at 9am which is opening time. was needing appointment straight away as face is swelling And painfull nothing untill the next day thou. Lady was very kind but not sure she understood how much pain i was in And the fact my face is swelling up is worrying.

Opening hours on website totally useless. Been there 3 times and nobody on site, despite saying open 9-1 & 2-5. Phone never answered.
