I have been with a few different GP surgery’s but Kings Corner Surgery has to be the worst I have ever been a patient of. I have always found the service extremely slow and the doctors seem unwilling to provide referrals or prescriptions even when it’s necessary. I and others have moved to Babylon (now eMed) and other online services which are not only faster but the care given significantly better. I am encouraging my family members to also make the move.

In middle of ongoing serious complaint and despite copying them they never respond . Spoke to them early on but now as we seek further answers post a report from Berkshire Matrons we hear nothing . You simply can’t contact a doctor and the admin staff are either deliberately difficult or ineffective.

In my experiences the doctors who I have seen (Dr McGlynn, Dr Hamid and Dr Choudry) have all been warm and compassionate and very good at recognising my ailments and arranging necessary treatments , scans, blood tests etc ... Can also say the admin staff were good at linking my NHS app to the surgery when I asked them and now I can just order my repeat prescription on my phone .. getting appointments I have had success using the e-consultation form although my ailments have been non urgent and I've been ok waiting . All in all my experiences have been positive and I'm grateful they are there .

Having been open for decades, I was surprised to see no reviews of this surgery. Perhaps they have been able to take them down? On the strength of this feedback, it’s astonishing that there has been no intervention.

Very long recorded message, when finally through, put on hold. Complicated online system to book appointments. My adult daughter (Maggie) with learning difficulties (and physical issues) struggles a lot to get access. When I called reception for her, the receptionist repeatedly spoke over me and was dismissive. All these obstacles (trying to get rid of her, deferring etc) make it very difficult for Maggie to get access. The law says that reasonable adjustments need to be made for people with disabilities and this is clearly not happening. Absolutely no understanding of learning disabilities, a GP practice.

Took my kids here and was very happy with the speed of getting seen and level of care for the children.

I’ve been with Kings Corner for more years than I care to mention (33 to be precise) and they have seen my children grow up. I’ve always had great treatment and advice from them and been happy with their service.

It used to be a fantastic surgery but since the change of management it’s rubbish. They want the money just to triage all the patients
