Getting through on the phone is a nightmare. I've been trying to call for over 2 hours before!
Ive been calling just now, was in a queue for 26 minutes, then someone answered an hung up instantly 😮 !. Not the first time I've been hung up on either! I've been asked to get bloods done, and can't get an appointment for over a month 👎 it never even looks busy when I've been in there. Receptionists are chatting away, so why is it so difficult to call the surgery 👎 never had any issues with my last surgery, and that was by london. St George's is shocking! And to get an appointment to see a doctor, they say call at 8am, only you can't get through for nearly 2 hours then when you do get through all appointments are gone. then they say call again tomorrow at 8 😮 I can't play this game, I have a kid to get ready an taken to school an I work.! What's happened to just calling an booking next available appointment.

Call at 8am too be put through half hour to an hour or so later to be told they are fully booked!!! Cant even get an appointment for a pregnant woman or a child because they are "fully booked by 8:10-8:20am". Call back from the doctor isnt available either.. Why be a doctors surgery if your not able to help anyone or book anyone in! Can NEVER get an appointment for weeks on end because they tell you too call at "8am"... Ridiculous is an understatement.. Thinking off moving surgeries!! Been with the surgery nearly a year and only been able too book about 5 appointments.. All these people needing medical attention can never get in! Ridiculous is an understatement 🙄

I'm amazed there are not more poor ratings on here for this surgery given that everyone I speak to voices the same issues yet we all get complacent. People have moved from this surgery and tell me others are just as bad. It's taken three weeks to get a signature on a form from my mum's doctor: First they wouldn't sign it unless she made an appointment- 4 days. Then the doctor wouldn't sign it straight away. Then after 7 days of chasing they admitted they had lost the form. Got another one to them and despite saying they would ring back every day they didn't. On day 4 I went back to the surgery- still not done and would not commit as to when but would ring me back. How many times had I heard that in the last 3 weeks. Finally a call to the doctor and he signed it there and then. Some reception staff are very helpful. Others are jobs worth with no customer facing skills and no empathy for a 78 year old who just needs her doctors signature on a health form! During one frustrating yet polite (me) conversation relaying the delays and asking why this was taking so long there was not a single apology for losing the form and the delay!!

After a call with the GP, I was left feeling like I wasn't listened to and the tone of the GP was less desirable - I called to review my medication for my anxiety disorder, and was left in tears after the GP shouted at me for not knowing how long I have been suffering.
He also claimed to have called my house's landline and the person who picked up said I didn't live at the house, and as such he took the number off - only to find that he either didn't call anyone or miscalled - as my mother had been at home and says that the landline hadn't rung.
The confusing thing is why did he call the landline when I had specifically booked a telephone appointment and had told the receptionist to call me on the phone that i called with - my mobile phone.
He also yelled at me, telling me I had to start receiving CBT again - despite the fact that I had stopped receiving the therapy for a referral that had to go through the GP - to which when I explained it to him he disregarded what i said and then told me i needed to go back for therapy.

TLDR: After calling the GP for a medication review I was left in tears after being ignored about a mental health referral and spoken to rudely.

You can NEVER get an appointment here. You ring at 8am to get a same day appointment to be asked by a receptionist why you want to see the doctor! Why is that any of their business? They then tell you that they will ring back later on to confirm a time. They don’t ring back and you can’t get an answer when you call them! After 58 years with this surgery I’ve had it.

This surgery is absolutely appalling.
the reception staff are beyond unhelpful
Your heath means nothing top these people, you are just a number that means NOTHING

Dr Pannu encourage me to sign up to this surgery, i quote his words - "come to our surgery, i will look after you James" - i have never set eyes on this dr again. he hides behind the reception staff, you can never see him
Making an appointment is impossible. you cannot ring to make a pre booked appointment you have to call on the day at 8am in hope you might get through!
I quote reception staff - YOU HAVE TO CALL IN THE MORNING AND TRY TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT,
ER ANSWER SYSTEM - ALL LINES BUSY - CALL BACK LATER - REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOUR LIFE IS IN THESE &%$£**% HANDS!!!!!

WHAT A SHAM THIS SURGERY AND STAFF IS.

I was told by the diabetic nurse to get back to her ASAP bc I have a uti and am diabetic. I feel very ill and bc I’m diabetic this could spread to my kidneys causing a lot of damage! The gestapo receptionists won’t allow it. My own surgery is about as useless as they are an now I’m writing a complaint to the medical council. This in not on! All weekend I will now have to suffer thru this bc they aren’t any help what so ever! Any problems with my kidneys as a result of this I will sue them for!
