I’ve had to rate 1 star to be able to rate otherwise it would be a 0.
When I first moved into the area this surgery was excellent, you’d make a call when you needed to see a doctor and it would happen immediately.
Soon after these surgeries would amalgamate into a partnership, and love and behold COVID hit.
For a long while after my cancer I did not use the doctors as I feel I don’t like to be hindrance.
As and when was my case.
I recently under went major surgery at the conquest , and 2 weeks after I lost my mother, and I needed the doctors help.
To me it was very important so I phoned up to make an appointment and was told I was looking at 3 weeks waiting list.
I explained to the receptionist I’d only need a phone call as this is how it’s gone now, due to lack of doctors.
She told me it was a 3 weeks waiting list for a phone call!
Unbelievable ! I feel the system has broken and nobody has any intention to fix it.
There are desperate people waiting out here for help, and they are just getting ignored.
I then started to realise that when you are in a bad place and need help you will find it extremely hard to get help again due to so called changes.
This needs to be fixed immediately
We are supposed to be a community!

I think the staff at Pebsham surgery do a fantastic job. Friendly staff at reception, nurses and other support staff are very caring.
I have been lucky to have seen Dr French, Dr Sharma and Doctor Wong, all have been very thorough and explain everything well. They take their time and never rush you. I have also seen the paramedics on two occasions and was very impressed with how thorough they are. I visit other surgeries with my job and I can honestly say that none are a patch on Pebsham. It is a clean, friendly and very caring place and staff do all they can to help.

I thought I'd leave a review after reading the (only) two not very helpful ones. I have been going to the surgery in Sea Rd and Pebsham for over 20 years and as I imagine in most Drs surgeries I have had very good treatment and not so good treatment. Sometimes you just are not on the same 'wavelength' as someone and that also applies to doctors. Overall myself and my family have received good treatment/ advice and the dr I choose to see is lovely; she listens and makes time for her patients. I have been seriously ill in the past and more recently needed more treatment and the doctor was right on it and I got the treatment I needed straight away.

So I collapsed at work, have extremely low blood pressure, advised by 111 to have a check for diabetes. Spoke to doctor French who was absolutely fantastic, he said to ring the doctors straight back and book bloods for diabetes and my kidney stone that's stuck. I rang and I was told that I'd have to ring back in 6 days as they were merging and might lose my details in the move. Today I feinted again and nothing I can do, so thanks for letting me continue so that you can do your move

Having to book an appointment 2 weeks in advance means that sometimes the original reason for booking will change. Booked in for my appointment today in very good time, but then after a wait of 20 minutes and a talk with the receptionist was finally seen by the doctor, who apparently had been on the phone for an hour. This in itself was ok but because I had more than one issue, was told in effect to hurry up , and the doctor rushed through the consultation so he could get rid of me , I left annoyed and angry. If you book an appointment on line at Pebsham your choice seems to be restricted to one doctor only.

It's a doctors surgery, you have docs you get on with and some that you don't in any establishment, but overall I have found my experience with this surgery to be positive.

The reception team are friendly and approachable and I have specific doctors there that I like to see.

So yes, overall a positive experience in this surgery.

I do not rate this surgery at all I have my grandad living with me at an age on 92. Evrey single month I have a nightmare trying to get his prescription which is in repeat. I have to ring them each month several times to get them to send the prescription to boots. On occasions I have had to go to boots to get the pharmacist to ring them as well as go to out of hours to get medication as they wouldn't release his prescription when ringing today after 17 days of trying to get his prescription for this month I was told " I'll have to get of the phone now this isnt getting my work done" this is one of the worst doctors surgery I have ever dealt with and would not recommend it to anybody

All the doctors and nurses are lovely also most of the receptionists are nice but there is this one, she lacks any empathy she’s rude, I honestly think something needs to be done some training or a talking too she is literally the least helpful person I’ve ever met so rude
