I have been with this surgery all my life. It was an amazing surgery until CHP took over. Staff rude, unhelpful, patronising and constantly give out incorrect information. Very hard to get appointments, I would not recommend this surgery to anyone. They left my Son who has asthma & various allergies 2 weeks without an inhaler. Stated he can't have one until has a spirometry test but have no appointments for the test Took many calls to finally get an inhaler, still waiting for the spirometry test. This place is a joke and looking at other reviews are playing with many people's lives.

Only way to get an appointment is to queue outside in all weathers at 7.20 am. Whose great idea was that for sick elderly patients.
Waiting room always empty, but never appointments available
. Can’t get a sick note been waiting 2 days today told to wait another 2 at least.
CHP is a disgrace and needs to lose its licence to operate.

This Drs has no concern for the care of its patients.
Phoned at 8am when the phone lines opened, and was 7th in queue,I was told when my call was answered that there were no appointments left.

I explained that I’d had similar symptoms a Xmas but once again couldn’t get an appointment, and was admitted to hospital for 3 weeks, and a blood clot was found.

No one cares at this practice, the sooner it’s shut down the better,as they clearly don’t have any resources to run it.

Advice if unhappy in job look elsewhere! The standard of care has dropped dramatically and I will be now looking at changing Dr's asap my advice to anyone thinking of joining this practice is dont put yourself or your family at risk!

Rang today bang on 8 when the lines open. I was 15 in the queue!! When I finally spoke to the receptionist I was told no appointments left!! She advised me to go to the walk in centre!! This used to be a brilliant practice until it joined city health partnership now it’s rapidly gone downhill. Such a shame as when you do eventually get to see a dr they are very good BUT if you can’t get see one what’s the point. The walk in centre would not be able to help me so I will try again tomorrow but I’m not holding out that it will be any different!
Omg you think it can’t get any worse but it does. My daughter’s last three asthma reviews have been cancelled.
She was going to have a review this week but the asthma nurse rang and cancelled again!
She then said she would do the review over the phone !
I have never heard anything so ridiculous. She was certainly not experienced as she was demanding my daughter used a spacer. My daughter pointed out you couldn’t with her particular preventative inhaler.
Why does she not know this?
I worked in the NHS and had to know everything in my particular field.
My daughter was diagnosed 42yrs ago with asthma and it has very much ruled her life.
She never goes out without her ventolin inhaler in fact if she has we have to go straight home for it.
In the past she was prescribed two ventolin inhalers a month. With no warning this dropped to one a month!
The asthma nurse has said she needs to come off her ventolin inhaler as research has shown it damages the heart.
As heart problems run on both sides of her family this has freaked her out. She asked ā€˜so when you taken me off ventolin what do I do if I have an asthma attack?’
The nurse told her she’d have to go to hospital and have a strong dose of ventolin administered!!
On average 4 asthma suffers die every day from an attack so now they want them to go to hospital for a long wait as friends have said there will be more deaths!
My daughter now has to put a further strain on the NHS and go have her heart checked. This is utter madness. A asthma attack is very scary for the person and anyone witnessing it but it could easily be brought under control at home with a ventolin inhaler.
