DHC have been instrumental in looking after me for some 3 years now. Always professional and caring - great team working under sometimes trying conditions i.e. the major building and refurbishment work at RBH. Happy to recommend them.

My experience with Dorset Heart Clinic was 10 out of 10. From meeting staff at reception and getting an appointment very quicky, to going through an Angiogram and recovering made the whole experience very bearable compared to other hospital experiences I have had in the past. All the office and medical staff have a real sense of empathy to my condition and have a calming way of dealing with it.

After my initial emergency treatment, I knew my prognosis, and so I dropped into the Dorset Heart Clinic to ask about private treatment. I accepted the fixed price private consultation on the spot.
My consultant, a highly experienced surgeon, was kind and unhurried. He put me at my ease and enabled me to make a completely informed decision how to choose my procedure. Although I chose the NHS, my consultant maintained me on his case list throughout my later treatment. His office handled all the correspondence between the Royal Bournemouth Hospital and me. His office's advice to get onto a Christmas cancellation list brought my treatment date forward by four months. My consultant even came in person to greet me on the day itself! Having my own consultant smoothed the way for my successful treatment. I will always recommend their expertise!

Had a really enlightening consultation with Dr. Din, and the woman who did my ECG was lovely. Everyone in the clinic was warm, professional, and honestly delightful which put me at ease. Just been in today for a procedure and i must say what fantastic staff they have in this ward . Although i wouldn’t like to say it wasn’t an enjoyable experience obviously but the whole team were pleasant . I cannot speak highly enough of Dorset Heart Clinic team. The help, information and support I received both in the lead up to my procedure, during my procedure and in my after care was above and beyond my highest expectations. From the admin staff through to the nursing & clinical staff and my consultant Dr Sopher, their care, understanding, clear communication and friendly reassurance was second to none and completely put me at ease at a time when I was very anxious. I was in ward 23 undergoing a preceedure for my heart, the level of care was outstanding, the support, humanity, and care was way above and beyond my expectations, in fact the best I have ever received and I have lived worldwide.
A humongous shout out to HOLLY, what a beautiful caring soul, thank goodness for people like her in the community.
