I’ve previously given Dears 5 stars when they only had a tiny shop which didn’t do prescriptions on the premises but had a collection machine. You handed in scripts, they would get sent to the Ballingry shop, and then would get a text when ready. Quite often I received notification the same day, it was fabulous. Since then, they moved into the previous Lloyds premises and I naturally was very pleased. However, the service is not at all as good. I’m not sure why, but scripts take an awful lot longer and they seem to have the same problem Lloyds had with staff unable to locate filled prescriptions. I often have to go into the shop as my monthly order is incomplete. Also, I expected the shop itself to be full of the usual things one gets on the shelves of a chemist, but the shelves are few and pretty sparse regarding toiletries etc. Disappointing 😞

My heath centre posted my prescription to the wrong pharmacy. Dears Burntisland have been so helpful in getting my tablets to me by delivering them to my house, even though it was my surgery that was at fault. Much appreciated thankyou so much for excellent service.

I think they may have eaten my prescription. Handed it in a few months ago and told they’d order in what I needed and never heard back. Called and told that they still waiting for it. No communication since.
