After spending time 6 hours in a&e, went to day Lewis at freshwater square to collect medication to be told , they could not do as they said it as not been written out properly by consultant and need to drive back to hospital. Once again i had to wait at hospital as consultant very busy. Then he came and saw me and said for over 30 years he had written prescriptions and never had a problem. I said they told me it wasn't legal. He tried calling day Lewis , they didn't answer and he was very shocked the way they behaved. He gave me back the prescription and told me definitely do not go back to day Lewis. I went elsewhere and got the prescription with no problem. Im extremely upset and disgusted about this. If i could i would give no stars as not even worthy of 1.

When this pharmacy was 'Peels' with Tracy and the team, it was fantastic. Now it has been taken-over by DayLewis staff, it is a useless pharmacy. The staff are abrupt and rude. Today, I was waiting for 10 minutes just to be served (only one person before me) so I walked out. Very sad to see what was a great local pharmacy go so bad. Their stocks are always low too.

Lovely little pharmacy, had ordered my mums prescription only 2 days ago, went to see if the prescription had at least been sent to them (as not expecting it to be ready as I know pharmacies are very busy etc) and it was all bagged up and ready- couldn’t believe it, efficiency at its finest- and Cherry is very friendly, smiley and helpful. Thank you 😊

This pharmacy is brilliant! The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The pharmacist always has time to talk about any issues and gives advice willingly. He even makes the effort to call if you are on new medication to make sure all is ok.
Can’t recommend enough, my whole family now use them.

I recently used this pharmacy,as my usual pharmacy didn't have the item in stock,while I waited I did notice that the phone would ring,but not get answered,I was the only patient in the shop,so not at all busy,yet the staff just chatted,laughed and ignored it. Since then I have been back to my usual pharmacy to collect my medication, only to be told my nominated pharmacy is now Day Lewis!! I was extremely annoyed as I had no idea,and on speaking to to the staff they informed me it was ' what they do' ,nominated patients without asking,! A member of staff,kindly rung them to ask them to return the prescription to the 'spine',so my pharmacy could fulfil it...whoever they spoke to was not happy and basically said 'well,we've done it,so can't they come and collect'....they were told,no,the patient is here! On talking to friends and neighbours,it seems it happens alot, please beware!

I have always used this pharmacy for many years,but not anymore! I went in the other day and discovered,the lovely,kind,helpful lady that worked there,has left. The staff that are there now are all new, and have no idea what they are doing,I didn't get spoken to the whole time I was there,the pharmacist was telling a member of staff off in front of everyone.....dreadful way to speak to your staff....and the atmosphere was awful,speaking to other local people,we came to the agreement it was like walking into a morgue, deathly quiet! I,for one will not be going back and I'm sure alot of the other people wont be either....this is really sad,the original staff were amazing,made everyone feel welcome and went out of their way to help. I wish I knew where the lady had gone to,if she's gone to another pharmacy,I'd follow her!
