Received text stating prescription was ready to pick up. Went to pick up but couldn't get it as the only pharmacist on duty went off to assist in a more busier pharmacy leaving local regular customers in the lurch. Had to have my prescription returned and go elsewhere as I would not receive my meds untill Tuesday (4 days later). The member of staff left holding the fort was clearly annoyed at customers looking for an explanation. Went to boots, they alas informed me that day Lewis hadn't passed over all the details and that they could only process 2 of the 6 items. So had to contact Day Lewis again requesting they rectify their error. I have mobility issues and found the experience stressful. Elderly customers with no access to transport whom I met outside the pharmacy were clearly distressed with their predicament. Big thanks to boots who were fantastic and got my prescription sorted within half an hour.
