I got an emergency appointment for a suspected retinal detachment. Fitted me in at the end of the day. The detachment was confirmed, and Mr Patel did an emergency referral. He put himself out to see me, not my area or usual optician. Extremely kind, professional and helpful.

Had occasion to visit this optician in Edenbridge on spec with a sore eye, I was seen almost immediately and had a full examination and was diagnosed with a corneal ulcer and given treatment. Excellent professional service delivered by Mr Patel and his team.

I have been going to Day Lewis opticians for years for a reason! There is no one else I would trust with my eye care than them. My family have also been going to them for years. There are a couple of reviews saying they are more expensive than other opticians, but you can't put a price on the reassurance that you are in good hands and getting the best eye care possible. (I also don't think they're expensive anyway). I highly recommend them :).

Superb customer service from the gentleman testing my eyes. However outrageous price for an eye test. Having known I would be charged so much I would have rather visited Specsavers or Boots where I would be paying no more than £30.00 and at least been given a discount on glasses. I feel totally robbed!

Not impressed!
Visited recently as an emergency when I had a haemorrhage in my eye.
Thankful that the optometrist saw me straight away but the outcome was £30 for sight testing and a referral to a random clinic in Maidstone and assurance that it was not a haemorrhage!
Self referred to Moorfields in London where I got operated on immediately and this I believe saved my sight.

Atish & staff have been looking after my eyes for 20+ years (says it all really)! Superb local service, always takes the time to explain what he is doing and if there are any concerns. Very reasonable pricing as well in my opinion.
