Jenny was the perfect guide to the bountiful world that surrounds us. Within a few meters of hedgerow, her gentle hands pointed out half a dozen amazing plants. Some tasted as sweet as vanilla, others stunk like cat pee. From the tree needles down to the mushrooms, Jenny expertly told us the history of all these plants and opened to us their many benefits. It’s a treat to see how Jenny’s caring of this land for 30 years has supported a wild abundance that is difficult to find elsewhere. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us, Jenny!

A fabulous day making a willow basket with Jenny. Though a complete novice, I was delighted with my end product which is sturdy and useful.
Jenny made our small group very welcome and comfortable in her barn where all we needed was provided. With her knowledge and expertise Jenny patiently taught many different skills to create our baskets and was there all along to support and advise.
I might even have a go weaving stuff from my garden now!
Thanks for a lovely day Jenny.

What a great experience, i will never look at plants the same way again, from opposite leaves, thin and velvety, spiky and sweet. Worthwhile going along if you are interested in edible plants in the countryside. Great advice on walking along public paths, remember that dogs can wet plants up to around 3 feet, do not eat below this level on public paths. Thank you Jenny.

Lovely day yesterday in the giant barn making a basket. As always Jenny was the epitome of patience and kindness. We needed a lot of help and she was with us every step of the way. As an added bonus, my large sturdy basket is truly magnificent! Exhausted but very happy. 💚

Had a lovely day foraging with Jenny and the WI girls. The weather was fantastic and we had a very pleasant walk around the farm where Jenny taught us about foraging and what we could and couldn't eat, as well as all the benefits etc. It was friendly, peaceful and very relaxing. It's a wonderful setting and a lovely day out.

Dalton Moor Farm make the best Apple Cider Vinegar I've ever had.
It's organic and has 'the mother' in.
You can even get refills for the bottle.
Jenny posted it out to me, although next time I'm going to visit the farm and see what other delicious things they do.

I had a thoroughly enjoying morning at the farm on the foraging course and left feeling informed and inspired! Jenny is very knowledgeable and I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the morning. You’ll be surprised to learn about all the plants we consider “weeds”, it’s such a shame humans have become so detached from wild food, but after spending the morning with Jenny I am determined to compliment my meals with goodies from nature’s store.
